"Well, I found a couple of things. Not sure if they will lead somewhere, but we didn't have them three hours ago, so that's good. The first thing is Archer, and I found five prints on the money that

he brought me. They are being run through the database now. But I have an idea: since Archer was working for a bank, what if this money is from a laundering operation?"

"Why didn't I think of that?" Archer wonders out loud.

"Because you were too concentrated on making sure the gel lifters worked correctly and a little awestruck that you had 80k in your hands." I cross my arms, daring him to say that I'm wrong.

He smirks at me, those eyes ablaze, "You are definitely right about that."

"Anyways," I say, hoping Nisa doesn't see what's going on between us. "I also found something else. I was examining his body again and came across something in his eye. I didn't see it previously because my shadow was hiding the brightness of it."

I pull up my microscope on my big screen so they can see it, too. "Okay, so this here is a piece of latex from a glove. I assume it's a medical glove. I'm going to ask all the nearest hospitals to send me a pair of their gloves and cross-examine them to see if I can find the closest color match. If I find any, then we can cross reference people who worked at the bank and the hospital's staffing record. We might also have luck with the video and the hospital records in case it's not

linked to the money. This is probably our best bet; hopefully, we will find something."

Nisa looks proud. Yay me. "Okay, Daph, keep searching for this guy. Once you get the fingerprints back, another set of interviews will go on. Archer, you'll once again get a person. Hopefully, this will be under wraps in a few days. If that sounds like a plan, I'm going back upstairs to await another meeting."

"That sounds like a plan; I will call up if I find something. I probably won't be able to get the gloves tonight since it's already 4 o'clock. However, I'll work on it as soon as I get in tomorrow. I'm just going to get identities to match these fingerprints, and then I'm going home. I am totally beat." Nisa nods and walks out, leaving me and Archer alone.

Archer breaks the silence, "Whatcha want to eat tonight, little fox?"

"I have a few suggestions." I peruse him up and down, "What about a Vienna sausage?"

That's all it takes to have me against the wall, his one hand pushing my face in and the other holding my arm behind my back. His breath is on my ear, "Careful what you wish for." He says as he

grinds against me with what, indeed, is not a Vienna sausage. I'm playing with fire I'm not sure I can handle. Not by the feel of it.

Two can play this little power game, so I slowly back up against him. Rubbing against him. He groans; yep, I've got him wrapped up in my little web.

"You keep doing that, and I'm going to have to show you how you make me feel." He tightens his hold on my arm, making it a little painful but nothing I can't handle.

"And what if I want that? Right here, right now." I can feel myself getting wetter every second.

"Little fox," he whispers right in my ear, "Be patient because when I take you, it's going to be so rough that you will want a bed afterward."

Yep, that was definitely a shiver down my spine. "So, my place tonight?"

"I've always wondered what your den looks like. Your place will be perfect." He lets me go and backs up, but that doesn't do anything for the print that I see through his pants.

"Well, don't get too excited. It's nothing like your place. My place is boring and bland. But I'm renting, so there's not much I can

do to make it fully mine." Now I'm thinking about his house and how I could definitely see it being called mine, too. "It's a two bedroom and two baths, so not too bad, but it still feels tight. Especially when my sister comes to sleepover."

"Was she the one you were with at the bar the other night?" He looks genuinely interested to know something else about me.

"Yes, my younger sister, although we haven't spoken since that night. It's been hectic here working on this case, and she's a fashion designer, so she travels a lot. She just started to design for B-list celebrities. Our parents would be jealous, but we cut them out of our lives a long time ago."

"Horrible parents?"

"The worst, they used to verbally and mentally abuse us every day. Then we started to live with our uncle. He's like my true father. I owe him everything for raising me and Cordelia by himself. Who were you with that night? Your brother?"

"No, it may seem like that, but he's just a friend from high school. It's a long time, though, so it seems like we're siblings. He's originally from Germany and came here for soccer, but he didn't go pro after an injury. He's in…. financing."

That pause makes me think that Liam is not in financing but instead in something that might be slightly illegal. Now I'm wondering if Archer will point blank say that he has something to do with Liam's finances. "We'll have to set up a day where we can all go out together. Also, I didn't eat the salad you made me. I got so distracted and forgot about it."

"You haven't eaten since this morning at my place? It's like 6 o'clock at night."

"I barely eat when I'm down here working. Don't worry, I'll eat it tomorrow, but we're leaving in a little bit so we can just eat at my place. If you're still up to coming over?"
