"Cor, meet Archer. Archer, Cor." She reaches her hand out to shake his; however, Archer takes it and kisses her hand.

"Pleasure to meet you; I've heard much about you." I sit and take a sip of the water that's on the table.

"I've heard much about you too." She says as she looks down. I sputter on my drink; she is a little bitch.

"Cordelia, stop it. Don't embarrass him."

Archer laughs while he takes a seat. "I'm not embarrassed at all, especially since I must've been good if someone's already talking."

Now I'm fifty shades of red. "Okay, can we not talk about my sex life, please."

Cordelia smirks, "So Archer, what do you like to do for fun."

"I like to read, and I also play tennis. But I haven't had time to play or read for a while. It always fluctuates with work. How's your fashion designing going?" I feel like I'm in an interrogation room with both of them. Both waiting for the other to slip up.

"It's going well. I am currently working on a new piece for the runway. The theme is 'A twenties dream.' I'm doing a re-imagining of a flapper's dress. It's very sparkly and with a little poof underneath. It's going to be magical."

"Don't do gold or pink; everyone does that; you need something different." Is he giving my sister fashion advice?

"I was already planning on a plum color with champagne trim." Is she taking the advice? When I give her advice, she tells me I know nothing about fashion.

"Did you just take his advice?"

Cordelia looks at me, "Duh, it sounds like he knows stuff with that two-thousand-dollar suit on." We're interrupted by the waiter, and we order our food. I got a Cobb salad with a side of ranch. Their ranch is so good; it tastes like it's homemade. Cordelia gets her usual basic Caesar, and Archer gets a chicken salad with balsamic vinegar. Yep, I'm definitely sharing with him.

"But Cor, you never take my advice."

Archer cuts in, "In her defense, you wear jeans that were in season ten years ago." My mouth gaped open.

"That's what I tell her." Cordelia is probably loving this.

"They are my comfiest pair of jeans; leave them alone."

"I can buy you comfy jeans, little fox."

"Daphne, don't even say anything; if a man wants to spend his money on you, you let him." In response, I stick my tongue out at both of them and take a sip of my water.

"Is your friend coming?" Cordelia points the question at Archer.

"I'm not entirely sure; he said that he might, but who knows entirely with him. I apologize for his somewhat rudeness, but that was him all throughout high school, late for everything. He missed out on a lot." It sounds like he and Liam are very close. I know that he said he's like a brother, but a lot of guys say that for people they meet on the street.

Our salads come, and we are thrust into that quietness of eating. I eat some of my salad and Archers. Both are delicious and fresh. Perfect for a lunch date. After we're done, I'm completely stuffed and satisfied with how lunch turned out.

"So, Archer, are you truly going to treat Daph right?" Cordelia is looking at him like this is the most important question ever. It's like she's trying to protect her big sister in her own way.

"I will try my damn hardest, but I cannot promise that we won't argue over stupid shit like every couple does. However, I can say that I promise to always be the first to apologize and never allow her to go to sleep upset."

"That's good enough for me because, trust me, Daphne likes to pick fights just to argue. She's always done it."

"Hey, that's not true. You're the one who always fought people when we were little, you hypocrite."

"Daph, words hurt more to some people."

"Cor, you physically ripped someone's hair out as a teenager." Archer is looking at us like we're crazy but also a sense of longing. I wonder if he's thinking of his sister.

"Shhh, we don't need to speak about that."

I laugh and shake my head. "You're something else."
