“That’s okay, you’re not sleeping with him, and I understand him just fine.”

“That you truly love and enjoy such a variety of men with such varied tastes is intimidating. I do not know if I can keep up with you.”

“It’s not a contest,” I said, studying her face in the bar of light from the streetlight above us. Hmm, I was hoping for more shadow in the back of the SUV.

“If you are going to heal us as a faster method of getting you back to Jean-Claude, then let us not delay,” Wicked said.

I smiled at him, knowing it wasn’t just the normal sexual eagerness. I didn’t blame him for wanting to be healed if it was possible.

“In the back of the SUV?” Truth asked, sounding a little dubious.

“We have had sex in worse places,” Wicked said.

“Not while injured this badly.”

“We could try it on the verge under the trees, if you want more room.” I was smiling while I offered it.

“I would rather stay in the back of the car until my arm is healed,” Truth said.

“Sex on bare grass is overrated,” Wicked said.

“Back of the car it is, then,” I said.

“I’ll guard from outside the car,” Ru said, reaching for the door handle.

“I’m fine staying inside. Nathaniel’s teaching me that sometimes I like to watch, too,” Pierette said.

“Watching knowing you will enjoy later is one thing, but watching without that is quite another,” Ru said. He got out before I couldfigure out what to say to that, and then Wicked reached over the seat to stroke his fingers down my face. It turned me to him with his handsome face cut by light and shadow so the bandage on his left side almost glowed.

“Do you mind if Pierette guards and watches us at the same time?”

“Will it excite you to know she’s watching?”

I thought about that in the small confines of the SUV. “It might.”

“Then she can watch.” He stroked his hand up and down the side of my face.

“We are not at our best injured like this,” Truth said.

“So don’t judge us too harshly,” Wicked said.

I finally realized they were talking to Pierette. I had a moment of almost jealousy, and then I thought about having a night where it was the four of us, where I could watch both men above us, entering us at the same time, pleasuring us at the same time, and the thought of it tightened things low in my body so hard and fast that it made me gasp.

“What is wrong?” Wicked asked, dropping his hand.

“Nothing,” I said, “just thinking of a night that Pierette and I had that we might be able to duplicate when you’re both feeling better.”

She said, “You mean the night…”

I put a finger on her lips to stop her from sayingMicah and Nathaniel, because even the most poly of men don’t like being compared to someone else in the midst of things. “Yes, that night.”

She kissed my fingertip, then slid her mouth over my finger until she took me in down to where the knuckle joined my hand. Her mouth was warm and wet as she drew it slowly back up. My pulse was up, my breathing already fast.

“That was most helpful,” Truth said.

“Very helpful,” Wicked said. Their voices let me know that I wasn’t the only one enjoying myself.

She kissed the tip of my finger again, then said, “If I can be more helpful, just let me know.”
