Mason and Brandon decided to have their wedding in Crescent Town, a city with miles of beach and where the sun shines constantly. We haven’t taken a family vacation, so I was thrilled that we could get away from Fair Falls for a bit. While I love my city, getting to see other places is refreshing.

This is Tanner’s first vacation ever, so we came down a few days before the rehearsal dinner—since it’s summer break from school—and we went sightseeing. We took more pictures than we have space for, I’m sure and bought tons of souvenirs. Tanner had a blast and I’m glad we could give him new experiences.

Tanner is thriving and growing while he’s with us. In the nine months that he’s been our son, he’s been a joy. Some teenage angst is going on, which is normal, but we have open communication and he talks to us about everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better kid. He and his friend Yeong are permanent fixtures at our house. So much so that Kwan comes over when he gets off to collect Yeong instead of checking to see if he’s at home. Kwan has become a great friend and we all have dinner at least twice a week.

Well, the adults have dinner. Tanner and Yeong go to the entertainment room and eat there while playing video games. If he doesn’t have Samuel, that is. When Tanner pries Samuel from Benjamin’s hands, he takes him to the entertainment room and the three of them watch movies. Well, Samuel usually sleeps or watches them, but Tanner loves having him around.

He’s so great with the kids. Tanner has pushed us to go on a few date nights while he keeps the baby. We’ve come home to find the two of them asleep, Tanner sprawled on the couch and Samuel in his bassinet, looking comfy and cozy.

Shaking off my reverie, I walk behind Tanner and Samuel to get to Benjamin at the end of the aisle. I throw an arm around his shoulder, pulling him towards me. “You look edible.”

His cheeks pink and he glances up at me, smiling slightly. “We have children here, good sir. Keep your mind out of the gutter.”

Chuckling, I kiss his mating mark. “Fine. There’s something I need to talk to you about.” My omega looks at me quizzically. I look around to see where Tanner is. When I see him talking to Mason, who he’s gotten really close to after Mason assured him that he’s not considered a typical alpha by some people’s standards. Mason is almost shy and really gentle, the complete opposite of what an alpha his size “should be.”

Since he’s occupied, I speak freely. “Tanner’s birthday is next month.” Benjamin nods, giving me a look likeI know that. “Well, I was thinking we could go on another vacation. To Disney in California. We can bring Yeong and Kwan since school is out. We can stay for a week or so.”

Benjamin smile softly and nods, kissing me again. “You think of everything. I was just going to get him the newest game system he’s been dropping hints about.”

I shrug. “We can do that too. Imagine how he and Yeong will react to that.”

Since we paid him off, Tanner’s father hasn’t tried to pop back up. I hired a PI to track him down and he’s still heavily on drugs, but he’s making no effort to come back for more money. We stipulated in the legal documents that he can’t approach or talk to Tanner or try to fight for his rights. Only time will tell if he actually listens.

The other omega that stood up from Brandon walks up to Benjamin, gives him a hug and they talk briefly. “This is my alpha, Rome.” Benjamin says, smiling up at me. “Rome, this is Peter.”

“Nice to meet you,” Peter says, a soft smile on his face.

“Likewise,” I say.

“Peter works with Brandon. He’s a hell of an accountant.”

Peter blushes, pushing a shaky hand through his hair. “I don’t know about all that. I’m just glad Brandon is giving me a chance to prove myself.”

“Alright everyone,” Brandon says, clapping his hands and getting everyone’s attention. “Let’s go inside. The caterers have a great spread set up and I need to feed my alpha.” Mason blushes, rubbing his belly and smiling at Brandon. They have to be the most adorable couple.

Second to me and my omega, that is.

Tanner makes his way back over to us, a sleeping Samuel on his shoulder. Samuel is so adorable, the same curls and light brown skin as his dad. He has my eyes and nose though, the perfect blend of the two of us.

When I look at my family, my chest gets tight and I feel like I’ll burst from this overwhelming feeling of happiness. Seeing Benjamin fuss over Tanner, telling him he should have gotten a haircut before we came out, Tanner giving him a dry look, pushing his blond waves back from his forehead and telling his dad that his hair is fine, and Samuel sleeping through it all, makes me want to pinch myself to make sure this all isn’t an elaborate dream.

But no. This is my life. This is my family. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

We’re not sure if Samuel will be our last child or if we will have another, but I’m not greedy. I have two beautiful sons—any more will be the biggest blessing.

Our oldest son looks around at the venue as we walk inside, whistling low. “This is nice. Will you have something like th-th-this at your wedding?”

I grin down at him. “Definitely. Your dad loves this kind of stuff.”

“Don’t I know it,” Tanner quips.

With mock indignation, Benjamin says, “I will leave you two here if you don’t stop teasing me.”

Wrapping an arm around his waist, I spin Benjamin around, making him squeal. “You’ll leave me and your son behind, my feisty omega? You won’t miss us?”

He pretends to ponder it, then cracks a smile. “Ugh. Fine. Yes, I’ll miss you two. But you’re both on thin ice.” Tanner laughs as I kiss Benjamin, soft and sweet. “Now put me down, you bully.” I set him on his feet and he tucks himself against my side, where he belongs.

“What do you think about a winter wedding?” I ask. There are a lot of venues in Fair Falls. If we do early winter, there could be some light snow. I would love to have some wedding photos of Samuel playing in the snow. By the time the wedding rolls around, he should be walking.
