“Or the mountains,” Bo suggested.

“The mountains,” I said. “We’ll rent a big cabin and get married up there.”

Bo moved his hand from my thigh to my own hand, weaving his fingers through mine. He gave it a gentle squeeze.

“That sounds perfect to me,” he said. “We’ll get married near where we met.”

“Surrounded by all the people who love you,” Abbie said, giving us a big smile.

“Agreed.” Bo gave a nod.

“Now, who wants another drink?” Abbie asked.

She pushed her seat back from the table and started to stand. But Bo let go of my hand and pushed his own seat back.

“What do you say we show them what we’ve got?” he asked.

I returned his smile. Working side by side with my fiancé, making drinks for the people we loved most? I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our new engagement.

We walked to the bar together and took our places behind it. As I looked over the room at all the friendly faces, I knew this was where I’d always belonged. This was home.
