I need them.

I can hear the sound of several bike engines in the distance, but I ignore them as my destination comes into view.

I keep running until I hit the fresh patch of soil next to my daddy, and my tears start to fall again. A sob builds in my chest when I notice the headstone.

Ashley Anderson

Beloved Mother and Wife

Gone but never forgotten.

My sobs crawl out of my throat; she's really gone; she really left me all alone.

I can hear the rumblings of the bikes behind me, but I ignore them while I fall to my knees, wails full of pain ripping from my body.

Pain like no other screams through me.

Why? Why did she leave me all alone?

"SOPHIE!" I hear Leah shout, but my wails get louder and more intense.

I feel like I can't breathe like someone is ripping through my chest.

Why did she leave me why?

I start to gasp for breath; my crying hardens, but I can't stop.

She left me.

Why did she have to leave me?

Please, please come back.

I start screaming, "PLEASE COME BACK, PLEASEEEā€¦."

Black spots start to gather in my eyes.

"PIXIE."

Jackson, my Jackson.

He'll leave me; everybody always leaves.

Leah won't talk to me again after today, I'd already treated her like crap when she always had my back and now I've just outed one of her secrets.

I've lost everyone; I'm all alone.

"P-PLEASE COME-COME B-BACK, P-P-PLEASEā€¦"

I can feel myself becoming breathless.

I can't breathe.

I can't..

I..

Blackness takes hold as I fall next to Momma's grave while several people shout my name as Leah screams.
