IwasexpectingVikulto bring me to a boring factory with nothing interesting to do, but this place is beyond my imagination.

He is talking to another being in a language I don’t understand. I’m standing in front of a piece of glass that separates out the mining area outside.

It is a large rocky mountain and the factory we are in is at the bottom of it. We are in a crack, barely seeing the sky from the space between the two rocky sides.

The mountain is black, but it isn’t made of boring rock. There is a glint in the black, and it feels like I’m staring at a mountain made up of diamonds.

There are blue minerals infused in the black mountain and there are bigger blue crystals protruding from the edges. There are digging robots that look like big beetles with horns. As the horns dig into the mountain, sparkling dust flies. There are a few robots that fly like a hummingbird collecting minerals from the digging robots.

It is dark outside; the mountain above has blocked most of the light. There are some bright spots flying and moving. Maybe that’s some bugs that will give light, or maybe it is the shred and dust of the minerals, or maybe another type of robot.

I suck in a breath. This place is unreal. It feels like I’m dreaming. This looks like I’m in one of the fantasy books, inside an enchanted forest. Staring at the shiny and glittering blue and black is almost hypnotic. I can stand here and look at it for the whole day.

A pair of arms wrap around me with a hot and huge body pressing against me. I look up to find Vikul’s handsome face.

He rubs my stomach. The other being is probably gone, so he thinks he can do whatever. “Sorry for making you wait.”

I squeeze his hand on me. “This place is beautiful.”

He grins. “I’m glad you like it. This is a new project. We are excavating a new place.”

“It looks like the blue mineral you are going after is going to sell for a lot. It is beautiful.”

“Don’t you grow to love them?”

The robots are still digging. When the drills hit the rock, there is dust that shines in the air. Doesn’t seem to be good to get out there, but it is breathtaking to watch.

“I think I do. It takes time to get into the groove and when it happens, everything is going to click.”

He takes in a breath. “And sometimes, things happen at the right times.”

“Mmmhmm...”

“There is a part of this site where we developed into a tourist attraction. You are going to enjoy it. We can ride a boat and check out the rocks.”

I take a breath, taking in his scent. He warms me with his existence, something I’ve never felt before. “Every day, you will be here talking to beings. And somehow, you speak my language.”

“I do. I trade with humans, so I learn human languages. Not all of them, but the common ones.”

“That prepared you well.”

“To meet you, yes.”

In the window, there is his reflection. The robots are still going, but all I can see is him. His mouth opens and closes as if he has something to say, but figured that he shouldn’t.

Silence lingers between us, but it is a comfortable one. I’m here with him, in the mining site, alone.

Maybe he is also watching the robots and the sparkling dust, which are hypnotic and make it easy to keep staring.

“We will be here at times, explore new sites at times, and talk to other beings at times. We can get a lot of time for ourselves. Only the two of us, on the spaceship.”

“For you to pin me down and do whatever you want? All the time?”

His cock twitches, and when we are standing with our bodies stuck together, I can feel everything.

He clears his throat. “That will make the trips a lot more interesting. I hope that will be a life you can grow to like.”
