And if she wants to get married sooner rather than later, then even better—I’d get a celebrant out here today if she wanted me to. The sooner she is mine in every single way possible, the better.

Whenever it happens, one thing is for certain, she will look incredible and it will definitely become one of the best days of my entire life, one I will remember forever.

I place my hands behind my head and smile widely at her. “Deal.”

~ Chapter Seventeen ~

Rebecca

A couple of days later, I still can’t believe I am here, when only five months ago I hadn’t even heard of the man who I now love so fiercely and have agreed to marry. I told him I wanted a couple of days for just the two of us without any outside distractions, so we could really get to know each other. We spent the entire two days in his private quarters, making love in our own rough way, and becoming acquainted.

When I finally leave his room to return to the space I had called my own since arriving, I am surprised to find a beautiful oversized gift box sitting on the bed. I race over to it and tug on the light pink satin ribbon before pulling the lid from the box. Inside is a beautiful chiffon gown the same color as my engagement ring. I gently lift the dress from under the tissue paper and beneath it is another small gift box that matches the other two I have been gifted. I pluck it out and crack open the top, revealing a pair of deep blue, pear-shaped diamond earrings in a beautiful drop-down style.

As I turn to put the dress and earrings on the bed, I see a small envelope at the very bottom of the box with my name written across it. I know its Alexander’s handwriting, as it matches the script that was on my welcome letter.

I pull open the envelope and find a folded piece of paper inside, and I begin to read.

Rebecca,

I write this letter to you whilst you sleep so soundly in my bed. The one I have wanted to share with you for so long now that I can’t help but pinch myself, believing it to still be a dream. But it’s not, sweetheart; you really are here with me. Just like you have been in my heart for what seems like an eternity.

What we will face in this lifetime will surely be like a river—sometimes easy flowing, or rough rapids for us to navigate. I want you to know that no matter what we go through, my love for you is endless and from this day, till the day I take my last breath, I am yours, endlessly.

I love you,

Alexander

I re-read the letter countless times, while tears form in my eyes and tumble down my face. I feel his love for me in his words, the ones he took the time to put onto paper, like sweet poetic emotions lining the surface of the blank page, caressing me with the heartfelt words. I love him too. More than I have ever loved anyone; more than I ever thought I could possibly love someone.

I head into the bathroom for a shower. Once I have enjoyed the hot water for long enough, I finish up and quickly apply some makeup and pin my hair back in a messy chignon, before returning to the bed to put on my new dress and earrings.

I pad into the closet and grab one of the many pairs of black heels I have and slip them on. When I look at myself in the full-length mirror, I am incredibly happy at what I see; the woman smiling back at me is beautiful and confident. And most definitely in love.

I wait outside amongst the blooms in the rose garden for our photo shoot to let the world know that Rebecca Kennedy and Alexander Black are engaged to be married. I don’t have to wait long before I feel his presence behind me. I turn slowly and allow my eyes to fully appreciate the view.

He is wearing a bespoke ink black tuxedo, that caresses his body in such a way there is no doubt this was made especially for him. The tie matches my dress, and shiny black wingtips enclose his feet. He walks across to me, in long easy strides that only a man of Alexander’s height can do. And then he is there, right in front of me. With my high heels, I come a little closer to his shoulders, but not quite.

He leans down and kisses me softly, the press of his lips against my own starting that internal ache I constantly have for him. My hands slide up his lapels to hold him closer to me, and my tongue slides into his mouth, gently wrestling with his. I giggle and pull back.

“Well, if I wasn’t already hard when I was just looking at you, I am now,” he confesses in a rough tone.

“I’m wet just looking at you, no kiss needed,” I volley back.

Alexander’s eyes shimmer in the sunlight. He takes my hand in his and drags me around to the back of the house, and before I have time to comprehend what’s happening, his hand is up my dress, past the flimsy lace protection of my panties, and sliding into me. I moan, loving the invasion, and the oh-so alpha bravado he radiates.

“Indeed, you are wet. Just what are we going to do with you?” he asks.

“Whatever you want. I’m yours.” I moan as his fingers scissor inside me. I hear his zipper coming undone and I smile.

“You’re insatiable, sweetheart, but I wouldn’t have you any other way.” He whispers against my lips before kissing me softly. “Wrap your legs around me.” I do as he says immediately. His free hand lifting me. “Don’t make a sound, or I won’t let you come.” His threat sends moisture flooding below.

“No sounds, promise.” As soon as I finish the word promise, he is sliding into me, and a whimper escapes my throat as I throw my head back. “Christ, it’s so bloody good,” I murmur.

He leans forward and bruises my lips with the force of his kiss, never stopping the hard thrusting. I feel myself building within moments, his cock hitting the exact spot I need it to.

“Come now, Rebecca,” he orders in a gruff whisper, and I do. I lean forward and sink my teeth into his shoulder through his tuxedo and I hear him hiss. His warmth explodes inside me and know he too has found his release.

“I love it when you’re completely dominating, and I also love how you know exactly what my body needs.”
