“Jesus Christ,” Tobias muttered. “When can we meet with this Ethan?”

“I tell you what, let’s kill two birds with one stone. You two will meet with my partner and me to finalize the details, and we’ll bring Chris and Anthony as entertainment.”

Chris held his breath. This was the moment of truth.

“That sounds doable,” Tobias said cautiously. “I can book a nice suite in a nearby hotel, and—”

“Oh, for fuck’s sake,” Mickey snapped. “Tobias, invite them over to your house and sign a deal to get this place back on its feet.”

Jay moved Chris away from his cock and signaled him to get back on the couch. Chris did, his knees cramped, as well as his jaw. He sat and wiped the saliva from his chin, watching the thin lines of thought across Tobias’s forehead.

“There’s no reason to go to such trouble for a meeting,” Tobias finally said. “A suite in the city makes more sense.”

“Don’t you have enough rooms in your house?” Jay asked with a smirk.

“I have more than enough.”

“Oh, I’m going to use the room with the gorgeous bed.” Oscar rubbed his palms in anticipation.

“Your partner seems to approve,” Jay said.

“My partner can sometimes think with the wrong part of his body. That is why we leave the big decisions to me.”

Oscar snorted and gave an irritated glance at Tobias.

Jay, his cock back in his pants, crossed his legs. “Well, if you don’t want the likes of me in your house, that’s cool. I’ve been called trash by people like you many times.”

Tobias rolled his eyes. “Oh, keep the drama down. No one is calling you trash, although you should put more effort into how you present yourself.”

“True,” Mickey said and took a sip of wine.

Jay sat straighter, but there was anger in his posture. He hated hearing comments about his looks.

Well, cry me a fucking river.

Tobias tapped his knees, clearly debating on how to proceed. After a long and stressful minute, he said, “Fine, I’ll play along. We will meet at my house, but I need a guarantee that Anthony will be there at my disposal with no interruptions.”

Chris could hear Jay breathing heavily. Treating Chris like a piece of meat had become second nature to him, but Anthony was a different story. Still, they had come here knowing what was at stake.

“Deal,” Jay said.

“Oh, golly. And I will finally get to play with this one.” Oscar blew a kiss at Chris, who responded with a blank stare.

“I will handle the technical details for both parties,” Mickey said.

Tobias nodded. “Do that, but the invitation does not include you.”

Mickey waved his hand. “I have better things to do with my time. Are we done here?”

Oscar sighed. “If we must.”

Jay stood up and signaled Chris to follow suit. He had a moment of fright from thinking he might need to leave without his mask, but Jay picked it up from the floor and placed it over Chris’s head.

“If he’s going to be a regular here, I don’t see why you need to put that dreadful thing over his face,” Oscar said.

“You and I are not yet in business.” Jay began to steer Chris toward the exit. “Until we are, don’t advise me about my property. See you gentlemen soon. It’s been a pleasure.”
