Page 26 of Secrets and Kisses

He didn’t wait for me to nod before kissing my head again and continuing. “Then how about I take you out to lunch on Sunday and then we cuddle a bit?”

What kind of cuddling?

I wanted the answer enough to clear my throat. “What…I mean…like this? But with the bottle like you said? And books?”

It was a disjointed mess of a question, but I’d gotten it out and I could feel him nodding against me.

So I had a date with a Daddy?

“That sounds perfect.”

I had a date with a Daddy.

Oh. I had a date with a Daddy.

Chapter 8

Boyd

I should’ve kissed him.

The nervous way he was peeking out his front window said he’d worried entirely too much over the last two days.

Kisses would’ve made sure he knew how much I was looking forward to our date.

But since words would have to do for the time being, I got out of the car, doing my best to look confident so he’d relax.

Sometimes that logic didn’t work but it seemed to this time based on how quickly Stefan came to the door. He was standing straight, but with his wide eyes, he looked like he was one nervous thought away from hiding under his bed. “Hi.”

“Hello.” Since I couldn’t fix problems I didn’t know the cause of, I stopped just in front of him. “Top three worries. Let’s get those out of the way.”

His soft sigh and rolled eyes said he wasn’t as nervous anymore.

I’d take him thinking I was ridiculous instead of him worrying any day, though.

“That the whole dragon thing was in my imagination. That the date thing was in my imagination too. That you…” He finally paused and took a breath before his gaze dropped down to my shoes. “That you won’t see me as a fullseduce him worthydate now that you’ve fed me applesauce.”

All very reasonable fears.

“Thank you for taking my question seriously and realizing that I needed to understand what you were thinking. Is it alright if I start working on helping you get rid of some of these worries?” I was prepared for confusion and even a no, but Stefan nodded slowly.

This was a sub who didn’t like being afraid.

“Good boy.” Finally closing the last few feet between us, I put one finger under his chin and tilted his head up. “I’m very proud of how brave you are.”

As his mouth opened in surprise, I leaned in and brushed my lips against his, using his shock to taste him deeper. My tongue stroking his got me a moan and he pushed against me, eager for more. But feeling just how eager I was seemed to jolt him back to reality.

“Oh.” His gaze darted lower as I stepped back, but he caught himself quickly and blushed when he realized what he’d been trying to confirm.

I couldn’t help laughing as his cheeks got redder. “Seeing is believing, huh? I’m not ashamed of being turned on by how sexy my date is, Stefan.”

That didn’t help his blush, but it seemed to put some of his fears to bed because his shoulders relaxed and a smile peeked out. “Every relationship has many different sides. Sometimes I’ll want to cuddle you and feed you applesauce. Sometimes I’ll want to give you very grown-up kisses and make you come. But don’t worry, I multitask very well, so I’ll always remember how cute both sides are.”

And the blush got even more adorable.

“I…” He took in a slightly shaky breath. “I’ll remember that.”

I thought he would.
