“How in the world did that happen?” I asked. “My mother swears to this day twins don’t run in our family.” I barked out a laugh.
“I don’t know how to tell her, but she’s wrong,” Flynn said. “What do we do now? I don’t even know how to prepare for one kid, let alone two.”
“It’ll be easier once we find out the sex.” I eyed my phone.
“Tell your sister,” he said excitedly. “She can bring us her castoffs.”
I reached for my phone. “Ah, I don’t think so. Look at this.”
Barking out a laugh, Flynn fell back against the pillow. “Oh, Lord. Not that again.”
“What? Our first baby! Babies!”
“Yeah, but eBay, Bella? I’m not sure about that.”
“It’s fine, sweetheart,” I said, hugging Flynn tight, dreaming of the packages of baby clothes that would soon be delivered. “They’ll be new, with tags!”
