Groaning around his cock, I tried to accommodate him quickly, especially since he’d caught on that using “I want” was guaranteed to facilitate whatever he desired.

I stroked and sucked harder in the hopes of giving him the orgasm he was so desperate for. As soon as his body tensed, he buried his hand in my hair and pushed my head down. I let go of his shaft and sank all the way to the root as his cock throbbed, releasing the first spurt down the back of my throat. Whimpering, his abs spasmed with each pulse until they gradually tapered off and his muscles relaxed.

Unsure how sensitive he’d be, I pulled off slowly and swallowed the remainder before straightening. His head was tipped back against the cabinets and he gazed at me with a dreamy expression.

“You’re out of this world,” he murmured.

I smiled softly and took his face between my palms, pressing my lips to his. Sliding his hands around my waist, he pulled me closer.

A knock on the door interrupted our quiet morning, followed by Nadia’s barking. Our happy moment popped like a bubble as we shoved away from each other. Marek scrambled to get off the counter while I grabbed his underwear and tossed it at him.

“Who is it?” I yelled over Nadia, raking my hands through my hair and finger-combing it back into place.

“Housekeeping,” Anton yelled back.

Marek’s eyes widened but I gestured for him to relax and went to the door, leaning over Nadia to crack it open.

“What?” I asked, peering out.

Even though Anton couldn’t see much, I knew he could make out my bare shoulder through the narrow opening by the incredulous look he gave me. Without saying anything, he lifted two garment bags into view.

I gritted my teeth and opened the door a bit wider, dragging the suits inside. “Thank you.”

“Valery told me that he posted Bogdan and Nikolai at the club,” Anton said in Russian.

“Why did he tell you and not me?”

“He said you didn’t answer the phone.”

“So you came here to tell me? In person? When I could have checked my phone at any point and saved you the trip?”

“You want to walk around wearing the same suit as yesterday, hoping no one will notice? Maybe you should only wear black and white, too. That way no one knows when you haven’t been home.” Anton raised his dark brows at me, dropping them when I glared. “I made an appointment at the tea room. Eduard has whatever it is you wanted. Since you’re clearly up to something, I figured it was safer there than Delirium.”

“I’ll be down in a minute.”

He gave me a flat look, silently making a point, before he nodded and walked away.

I closed the door and turned, not at all surprised to see Marek had vacated the kitchen and living room area. I found him in the bedroom, mostly dressed.

“Do I want to know?” he asked, stealing a glance at me out of the corner of his eye while he quickly buttoned his black shirt.

“Anton brought a change of clothes.” I carried the bags to the bed and laid them out, unzipping each one to see if he had been nice with his color selection or not. One was a navy pinstripe and the other a dark aubergine. So, yes, thankfully.

“Does he know? About…?” Marek asked, easing on the edge of the bed and twirling a finger in the air, indicating everything.

“You? Yes. Well… he knows you are important to me, as do Valery and Maxim. Their men are familiar with you but they don’t know about us.”

He nodded, watching me as I dressed. “And they don’t care?”

“Everyone has secrets, even those three.”

“They won’t tell Dimitri? Or Sergei?”

“Never. They know what will happen if I die.”

“People betray people all the time. You said it already happened to you once.”

“Not my people. They’ve seen the lengths I’ll go to in order to keep them safe. They would never risk it.”
