“Don’t. Touch.” Vanessa blew a curl out of her face. “Except for yourself.”

Mitch had already been racing ahead of her Mistress. As she remained straddled across Thalia’s lap, she stimulated herself in a similar way to the hostess, but Vanessa knew her pet would reach climax much faster than Thalia.

Auditions were quick affairs, after all.

Thalia gave it away with her cry of surprise, and Candace stopped her idle rubbing of her lip when she realized what Mitch had done. Only Vanessa had seen it coming, and not only because she knew her pet so well.I told her to do it, didn’t I?To share her self-induced orgasm with the obedient hostess who had been begging for attention all night.

When Mitch slipped off the couch and caught her breath, Thalia continued to touch herself until she writhed against the cushion, her other hand touching what Mitch had left behind on her stomach. Candace did not look away. Not even when Mitch returned to her Mistress and Vanessa lightly kissed her between the legs.

“You all right?” Vanessa whispered.

Mitch bent down and likewise kissed the top of her Mistress’s head. “Never better.”

The club was silent after Thalia’s squeals faded away and she slumped down to her side.

It was Candace who broke that stunned silence. “Perfect,” she said. “Exactly what I need to entertain my guests and… stimulate my clients.”

The door opened again. This time, the bouncer in her sunglasses was only slightly surprised to see what everyone was up to. “Ms. Lister,” she said with a crack in her voice.

“What?” Candace barked.

The bodyguard jerked her head toward the sterile room beyond the door. “She’s here.”

Candace pushed herself out of the sofa and commanded Amalie to make a dry martini with olive. She then nudged Thalia and told her to go clean herself up in the restroom. To Mitch, she merely picked up the naked woman’s jacket and silently implied she should put it back on. Vanessa agreed, and Mitch shrugged back into it while her Mistress unhooked the leash.

Through the door came a younger woman in a black fur stole and a cozy dress that highlighted her uniquely cherub-like features. Her eyes lit up when she saw Mitch, but it was not one of acknowledgment. Vanessa pulled her pet down to the couch and told her to stay out of it.

“You have guests,” the woman flirtatiously said as Candace greeted her. “How wonderful. Don’t tell me. This is the girl you have in mind for my husband.”

Mitch was stunned silent for the first time all night. Vanessa encircled her arm around her partner’s waist. Mitch wasn’t goinganywhere.

“Allow me to introduce you to Vanessa Richards and her enchanting pet Michelle.” Candace approached with the freshly made martini in hand. She handed it right to her new guest. Or was it client? “Perhaps you’ve met?”

“I’m afraid we haven’t,” Vanessa said.

“Vanessa Richards. I may have heard of you.” With the martini held in one hand, the mysterious woman fluffed her stole with the other. “Irene Feist. Pleasure to meet you.”

Vanessa hadn’t heard that name before, yet when she got a good look at this woman, she saw familiarity in her.Of course. Who else comes to this club but those who play a specific game?Irene certainly didn’t appear the submissive type.

“This must be your infamous partner.” Irene approached the couch. The door shut behind her. “What was your name again, dear?”

“Michelle,” Vanessa answered in Mitch’s stead.

“Ah,l’ange féminin.I once had a companion who went by the name Gabriella. There’s something about these women with the names of God’s soldiers, isn’t there, Vanessa?”

You have no idea.“Can’t say I’ve ever put the two together.”

“Irene,” Candace said with a noticeable customer service voice. “I know you’re in a hurry, so allow me to show you to… what we discussed earlier.”

“Fabulous. You’re right. I have a car waiting for me in the garage. We’re to depart on a private plane to Honolulu in about…” Irene checked her watch on the way down the hallway with Candace. “Ninety minutes. Let’s make this quick.”

Mitch pushed her lips toward Vanessa’s ear. “What do you think that’s about?”

“Something we’re supposed to politely pretend isn’t happening.”

Missy stepped out of the same back room that Candace and Irene entered. She did not make eye contact with either Mitch or Vanessa. All the couple could do was sit and wait.

Finally, the door opened again. Out stepped Candace, pleased as punch as she guided Irene back down the hallway. Except Irene was no longer alone. In her hand was a leather leash, and attached to the other end was a young woman in a black shift dress who kept her head bowed and her hands clasped together before her.
