“Always gets his gal,” Angel said.

Kiana crossed her arms over her chest like Dev. “Final question. Favorite position?”

Dev tipped his head as if giving the question a lot of consideration. “Whatever position brings my partner the greatest pleasure.”

“Mmm,” Leilani said. “At this point, I’d go out with him.”

Angel frowned. “The hell you will. Have I ever disappointed?”

She laughed, leaned up on her toes and kissed him. “Never.” She turned her attention back to Kiana. “Here comes the finale.”

“So,” Dev stepped toward Kiana. “Did I pass your test?”

“Yes, you did.”

“Great. I can pick you up at six.”

Leilani held out her hand. “Fifty bucks.”

Angel’s eyebrows drew together in confusion. “He passed her test.”

Kiana shook her head. “Not so fast.”

“Huh?” Angel frowned.

“So, you’re not going out with me?” Dev said.

Kiana shook her head. “Nope.”

“Why not?”

She flipped her long blond hair over her shoulder. “You never actually asked. You assumed.” Kiana leaned close and laid a hand on his chest. “That’s too bad. I was hoping you could show me yours, and I could show you mine.”

Dev licked his lips. “Show your what?”

“Positions,” she said. “Mine are really kinky.” Kiana winked. “Better luck next woman.”

Angel pulled out his wallet and dropped fifty dollars into Leilani’s hand.

As she walked away, Kiana’s cell phone rang. She pulled it out of her pocket and frowned at the screen before pressing the phone to her ear. “Tish? What’s wrong?”

Leilani frowned. “That’s not good.”

“What’s not good?” Angel said. “Who’s Tish?”

“Tish was one of her roommates in Honolulu, back when she was modeling.”

“Kiana’s a model?” Angel stared at the resort manager.

Dev joined them. “I can see it. She’s stunning.”

“And she shot you down, costing me fifty bucks,” Angel grumbled.

Dev grinned. “I’m not crying. But then I didn’t lose fifty bucks.”

Kiana walked several steps away, listening for a moment. “She’s probably just hooked up with some guy.” Listening again. “That long? Missed a call? That’s not like her. Not even for a guy.” Kiana sighed. “Don’t freak out. I’ll take time off and hop a plane in the morning. We’ll find her. See you tomorrow, Tish. Yeah, I remember. Friends forever.” Kiana ended the call and stood with her back to them for a few more moments.

When she turned, she walked toward Leilani and hugged her tight. “Love you, Lani. I might be out of pocket for a few days. I have some business to take care of in Honolulu.”
