“I see.” She traced a finger over my jaw, laying her head down on her crooked arm. Each blink was longer than the last. I also noticed her deep, steady breathing.
“Tired, suits?”
“Oh, I have an addendum or two that I want to rewrite. Just give me...five minutes?”
“Okay,” I whispered, reaching for a length of her straight, nut-brown hair. I curled it around my finger, imagining how it would feel brushing against my bare chest.
When I next looked up at Briana, her eyes were closed, and she was breathing softly. Content, I watched her, aware of her fingers still on my jaw. We had all night. This was another type of perfect moment, and I wasn’t ready for it to end.
Chapter 13 – Briana
Istretched, sleepfading slowly from my mushy brain. My mushysexedbrain. That was a hard piece of man next to me. And not just anyone. Viktor. The arrogant, sexy as sin man who’d driven me insane as long as I’d known him.
His soft breathing had me pushing away, but the moment I moved, he sprang after me with superior reflexes.
“Where do you think you’re going, suits?” he growled into my ear before nipping it.
“To the bathroom,” I deadpanned.
“Hmm, and how do I know it’s not some trick?”
I rolled my eyes. And then, a wicked idea struck me. “Please...sir?” I whispered.
That had him stilling. His morning wood, pressed tight into my back, had my pussy throbbing in response. There was a beat of silence before he took a stilted inhale. “I’ve never had a beautiful woman in my arms when I woke up. Ever.”
“You’re not a virgin,” I snorted.
Viktor cleared his throat. “No, but they didn’t sleep over,” he admitted, voice raw. “They never came to my home.”
“Oh,” I breathed.
“Go to the bathroom,” he ordered, playful tone sliding quickly back into place. He slapped my ass and gave me a gentle shove.
The skin was tender from last night, but I hid my grin as I scurried away.
