I grinned at her. “Just alittle.”

She laughed and offered up her left hand. “Okay, let’s do it! But I need at least a promise ring on this finger. Something that says, ‘fuck off, I’m taken’.” The smile on her face said she was joking—

But I sure as hell wasn’t. I stepped back and reached into my pocket. “I was going crazy today waiting for your friends to come home, so I might have called my elves and had them make me something special for you. Elsa brought it down to me just an hour ago.” I popped open the box and offered it to her. The central stone was a shimmering ruby, like her hair, round and huge. And the band was encrusted with countless diamonds, making the whole box sparkle in the light.

“I wanted something that looked like you,” I said smiling softly as I took the ring out of the box. With her vibrant red hair, beautiful skin, and amazing, bright smile... it was perfectlyher. “Will you wear it and be mine?”

She nodded, a fresh wave of tears welling in her eyes.

I slid it on her finger, my whole world falling into place once more. This was right. Righter than right. I felt it in my very soul.

She stared down at the ring. “I can’t believe... it’s just beautiful,” she whispered.

“Not as beautiful as you,” I said as I reached out, took her hand and pulled her into my waiting arms. “So, where to, gorgeous? New York? Vancouver? Hawaii? Australia? Mary and Tony seemed to really love it there.”

She wrapped her arms around my neck and held on tight. “Oh, definitely Vancouver to begin with. I want all those past lovers of yours to see us together and know that you’re mine forever more.”

I kissed her hard and fast, wishing I had the same magic she did so that I could simply transport us both to Canada. When I lifted my head, breaking our kiss, we were standing in the foyer of the same hotel I’d only left yesterday.Holy shit!

I laughed and kissed her again. “God, you’re amazing, Jaydy.”

My soon-to-be wife beamed up at me, her cheeks flushed with the rosiest pink I’d ever seen.

Life with my fated witch by my side was never going to be the same again. But I was ready for it.

We’d face our happily ever after, together—because that’s what Mr. and Mrs. Klaus did!

Epilogue

Jaydy.

2WEEKS LATER.

I stared down at the pregnancy test as the stupid thing turned bright blue. “Oh shit.”

We’d planned to wait until after we were married to try for children. There was no rush after all. We’d both agreed to simply be together and take this crazy journey of ours one day at a time. We certainly hadn’t thought we’d be starting a family just yet. But I guess we were.
