I almost can’t believe it.
My heart is racing because I don’t know how in the world, I could have been lucky enough to be fated to him, but I will myself to be human so I can touch him. Chapter Four
Raven
The minute that Eloise shifted, I knew that she was my fated mate. My heart is racing in my chest, trying to process through everything that’s going through my mind. Unbelievably, I have found my one true mate that people are lucky to ever find in their lifetime. There’s no way in hell that I’m going to give her up, like ever, and it hurt when she told me that she didn’t really believe me and that everyone would hate her.
I didn’t expect her to shift after meeting me but from what the physician told me, it’s because I had somehow doused her in my pheromones when we met for the first time. I had seen her before at a distance, but my body didn’t recognize her as mine, and neither did my wolf. It’s because we hadn’t locked eyes, and I didn’t see her. I use this as a distraction as I slowly start to push inside of her. She winces at the sudden intrusion, feeling incredibly tight around me but I don’t let that deter me. I move slowly, just going along with whatever she likes. She doesn’t seem to mind it too much, spreading her legs a little wider and making me delve in just a bit deeper.
