I reach out then and lightly stroke her cheek, “No, I wouldn’t help you. Hell, I would probably cheer you on… But I know this isn’t what you want to do, Eloise. Eloise hesitates for a moment longer and just when I think the wench is going to pass out, Eloise lets her go. The wench is desperately trying to catch her breath, gasping for air. I help Eloise to her feet, going to lead her away when the wench looks up at me with pleading eyes.
“Pack Leader, this demon tried to kill me!” She wails, trying to play this game, “You have to get rid of her! PLEASE!”
I just laugh in her face and shake my head, holding Eloise close to my side, “No. I won’t be getting rid of her, but I think it’s time to get rid of you if I’m being honest. You have been nothing more of a nuisance.”
I walk away with Eloise by my side, ignoring everyone’s stares because what happens now really isn’t any of their business. I’ll have to reward my beautiful mate…

I can’t believe I almost killed that bitch. She totally would have deserved it, I know this. She has been cruel and mean and she just wouldn’t get off of my back. She made me feel like the shittiest person in the entire world and somehow make me think that my mate didn’t actually want me. That he was basically just using me and would just drop me like a fly whenever he wanted to. I didn’t think that he would actually do that to me, but her words kept getting to me. She kept making me feel like a shitty person and then I would end up wanting to just die because nothing I ever did was good enough for anyone.
But now as the Pack Leader’s mate, I have shown my strength. I’m here to prove to them that I’m not going anywhere, and they won’t force me to. Raven sticks close to my side, silent as well before he suddenly pulls me in, placing a chaste kiss on my lips.
“You did well, my Luna.” He murmurs huskily, “Let’s go home.”
