She bit her lip. “Well, I did fill out the actors’ guild paperwork.”

Olivia grinned. “Well, then. Can’t ignore all that penmanship.”

They laughed, and then Olivia dragged her over to Yemeen, who was talking to the costumer from the ice play. She was also an Elite omega, but she and her mates had not yet settled together. Their home was still under construction.

Myrtle chatted with Yemeen, and he began to measure her. Teyval was grinning, and she flipped him a middle finger. Denith chuckled and finished the prep for dinner. He brought over a pulled-pork slider and held it to her lips.

She blushed but opened and took a bite. “Wow. That’s really good, Denith.”

He grinned. “Thanks. I started it this morning.”

Myrtle paused. “So, this was planned from the get-go, huh?”

He shrugged. “Absolutely. We are also all going to be on set with you. If you are there, I am craft services or your personal chef. And I guess I will feed Teyval and the others as well.”

“Wait. Toros is involved?”

“He’s good at carpentry. He can help on the indoor sets with minimal environmental impact.”

She looked around. “How is Byron going to be on set?”

“He is working as the stunt coordinator and your dance instructor for the scene with you and Teyval.”

She blinked. “Fuck. I did put one of those in there, didn’t I?”

“Two. You put two in there.” Denith smiled. “We read the screenplay after you fell asleep.”

“You guys are weird.”

He chuckled and held up the rest of the slider. “And we are all yours.”

She took the second bite, and her teeth grazed his fingers. His pupils dilated, and she felt her face heat. “Oh, that’s still a thing.”

“Yes, treasure, it is still a thing.”

She blinked. “Oh.”

Olivia whispered, “What is a thing?”

“He’s still in rut. I tried to figure out a different way to soothe him, but it didn’t work.”

Denith smiled. “It solved the madness but not the fire. It is handy though. I have been much nicer to my staff.”

“Oh. Right.” She smiled weakly. “That’s something, I guess.”

He leaned in and kissed her quickly. “It is indeed.”

Olivia was staring with a bright smile. “Wow. I wonder if this is what me and Ford look like?”

Ford’s voice came from a few feet behind them. “No. They are the stark contrast. It will be interesting to film. Even more interesting to put makeup on their features so they are clearly visible without looking cartoony.”

“Oh. Right. Makeup.”

Olivia said, “Ford taught me, so he can give you some pointers.”

“I don’t have blue highlights.”

Ford snorted. “We will work around it. I have done enough vampire videos to muddle through.”
