She placed a hand on my cheek. “Tell me all about it.”
“I… was meant to be married,” I said, “meant to marry a beautiful young human female. But then she took off with another male. AyoungChi. He even worked for me. They took off and she left me. All I wanted was some love. Is that really so much to ask?”
“No,” she said softly. “It’s not.”

My heart leapt in my throat and my nerves grew even stronger. “Yes,” I whispered. “I want love.”
“What shall I call you?”
“Icor,” I said. “You can call me Icor.”
She extended her hand to me. “Well, Icor, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

I reached up and gently brought her face down to mine.
Her lips were soft and wet and when they touched mine, I felt azinglike a live wire.
My entire body had been tense but now, feeling that gentle caress, began to relax.
She felt good in my arms, even better on my scaly skin.
Her skin was warm, just as I expected it would be.
She felt good on my knee too, light as a feather.
I reached over and placed my hand on her knee and she didn’t retract it.
