When I turned, she was looking at me again. Her full lips were slightly parted, and they were red, almost as if they were freshly bitten. “Get over here. I’m not finished with you.”

I’d hoped not.

“You are demanding, woman. I like it. Always tell me what you need.”

I sat on the floor in front of her again, taking up her feet in my hands. This time, I removed the socks. She let out a bit of a whimper as my rougher skin touched hers but soon eased into my touch. Her warm fingers started at my earlobes and moved upward. She was testing the different parts of me but when she got to the tips, the pointy top of my ears that marked me as an orc, I didn’t contain my moan of pleasure.

“Menace, you said to tell you when I was ready…”

I swallowed hard as my cock instantly shot to attention. It was like the damned thing was ready for her to say the word. “Not me first,” I grunted. “Draven and Saber will be gentler. I’m a beast. I…not me first, woman. Once I have a taste of you, I don’t know if I would be able to hold back. They can make it good for you.”

I turned around, thinking of putting her over my shoulder and taking her to one of the others, to make sure her needs were taken care of. They would serve her well. I would be a mess. I was sure of it.

“Menace?” The honey-sweet scent of her lust hit me all over my body. “Maybe I don’t want gentle.”

Chapter Nineteen

Ilya

“We agreed we would all be together the first time,” Menace said, softer than he’d spoken before. “So it cannot be just you and me.”

“Then why did you suggest just the others and me?” Was he wanting to step back from our arrangement? No…he’d said they were better first, hadn’t he?

“Just as I said. They will be gentler.”

“And I said I might not want gentle. But I think you are right in that we should all be together the first time.” And hope I could survive. They were big guys, and I’d never been with anyone nearly as tall and muscular, much less three at the same time. “Do you think they’d come now?”

“They might be available.”

He looked so serious, I had to giggle. “Should I ask them?”

“Why don’t we both go.” He stood and held out a hand to me.

I missed the gentle massage of my feet, but that pleasure might soon be dwarfed by the three who might be my mates. I still wasn’t clear on the full meaning of that word: mate. But I believed it was like being married, except you didn’t just walk out when things got tough. It was for life. But shouldn’t that include love? Maybe not. There were so many other types of relationships. Family, friends, even coworkers. It was about connection, but within each of those were levels to be filled in by the people involved. So, maybe mates did often have romantic love, but not always?

“Ilya?” He was still there, hand extended, one brow arched in question. “Did you change your mind?”

“No.” I accepted his grip. “It’s all new to me, but I know that I want you all. I’m just working my way through it.”

“There’s no rush, Ilya. We’re here together, and if you want to wait for the physical aspect until you’re more comfortable with us, it will be fine.”

“I’m very comfortable with you.” Then yet another thought penetrated the layers of my mind. “But what if I’m a disappointment?”

“You could never be that.” His thumb stroked the back of my hand. “But remember that goes both ways. What assurance do we have that our humble life is enough for you? That our lovemaking will satisfy you?” He was leading me out of the bedroom and into the hallway as he spoke.

“I guess we’ll have to see, then.” Although I couldn’t imagine I would be the one dissatisfied, his saying it gave me a bit more confidence.

Saber and Draven were seated in the living room with laptops open, staring assiduously at the screens, but it was fairly obvious that they weren’t doing work or playing a video game or anything. And I’d started to recognize that their hearing was better than the average human’s. Had they heard our whole conversation?

It didn’t bother me if they had.

Clinging to Menace’s hand, I licked my lips. “Um, are you guys busy?”

Obviously, they weren’t too busy to have sex with me. They might be orcs, but they were male, and I’d never met a young, healthy man who didn’t have an eye out for a woman in their bed. Not that they didn’t have preferences on who that might be, of course, but the sexual tension around here was so thick you could cut it with a spoon.

Two sets of eyes lifted to me, and their casual expressions were so fake!

“I thought maybe we could take things to the next level tonight?”
