He opened the door to a bevy of hot men and a pretty brunette.

They stared at him blankly from across the threshold.

Logan suppressed a wry grin.

I can see why these guys pack a punch wherever they go.

It wasn’t just that the men studying him were handsome as sin. They each had an individual presence that would make them stand out in any crowd.

Logan was starting to realize why the Terrible Seven were universally adored by the folks in Twilight Falls despite having been little terrors in their youths.

“Who are you?” the brunette said, shocked.

She must be Izzy Batista.

Logan smiled. “I’m Logan Prescott, Miles’s new neighbor.”

Izzy and the men turned to look at the house opposite the road.

“You are?” The guy who’d spoken had an imposing stature, a stubbled jawline, and tattoos running up the side of his neck. He looked warily at Logan.

And that must be Tristan Hart.

For once, Logan was grateful to Lucy. He could practically tell who was who among Miles’s famous friends.

“Miles told me he was expecting you.” Logan stepped back. “Come on in.”

They glanced at each other before crowding inside the foyer and taking off their coats like they’d done this a million times before.

“Looks like you just moved in,” a man with green eyes the same shade as the brunette’s said in a level tone. He indicated the trailer parked at the curb.

He’s gotta be Wyatt Batista, Izzy’s brother.

“I did,” Logan said. “Miles gave me a hand.”

He met the stare of a guy with piercing gray eyes and an intensely curious expression.

“It’s not like Miles to invite perfect strangers into his home,” the man who Logan suspected was Hunter Thomson drawled.

“Where is Miles by the way?” an attractive blond with pale blue eyes said guardedly.

And that’s Alex Hancock-West, the lawyer.

“I’m the vet who took care of Blue when Miles found him,” Logan told Hunter mildly. “And Miles is upstairs,” he said to Alex.

“Blue?” a ruggedly handsome guy with overlong brown hair grunted.

Logan studied Drake Jackson placidly.

I’m not quite sure who’s gunning for my head more, him or the lawyer.

It was clear Miles’s friends were incredibly protective of him. Another truth echoed inside Logan then.

It’s not that surprising. It must have been frustrating watching Miles in a coma all these years and not being able to help him.

The subject of his thoughts came down the stairs.

Miles looked more composed than he’d been when he’d left the kitchen. From his slightly damp bangs, Logan gathered he’d splashed a lot of water on his face.
