Logan did his best to keep a straight face as Drake’s expression soured. Roman glanced quizzically at his fiancé.

“What’s the matter with him?” Finn asked Alex.

“Papa Bear doesn’t like the fact that Baby Bear found a new playmate,” the lawyer said acerbically.

This statement earned Logan and Miles a battery of stares. Miles flushed. Drake frowned.

“It’s best to ignore them when they get like this,” Theo Miller drawled. He shook Logan’s hand. “I hope Hunter didn’t say anything too horrific the other day.”

Hunter sucked in air and pressed a hand to his chest. “How could you say that about your beloved husband-to-be?”

Theo kissed his cheek. “That’s because I know you.” His eyes twinkled. “It’s a good thing I love you. Anyone else would have muzzled you by now.”

Hunter straightened in his seat, interest brightening his gaze.

Theo narrowed his eyes at his fiancé. “I’m not buying you a muzzle for sex play.”

“Jesus,” Wyatt mumbled.

Nathan chortled. Logan grinned.

“You could always get him a ball and gag,” Roman suggested with a straight face.

Drake almost dropped his drink.

James lowered his brows at Roman. “How about you not reveal the details of your private life to everyone? I get that you and Yogi Bear over there can barely get out of the bedroom most days, but we’re in a public place, so behave.”

“Yogi—Yogi Bear!” Hunter snorted while Drake’s frown turned positively murderous.

Roman stuck his tongue out at James.

“Seriously, it’s like being with a bunch of five-year olds,” Alex muttered.

Finn chuckled.

“What are you guys talking about?” someone said behind Logan.

Logan turned.

Izzy was taking her scarf and coat off. She dropped them on the back of her brother’s chair and grabbed a vacant stool from another table.

“I thought you were out with Sam and Imogen,” Wyatt said.

“I was. They called it a night. I thought at least one of you would be at your favorite hunting ground.” She gave Logan a curious half-smile. “Hey. I wasn’t expecting to see you here.”

“Logan and Miles are on a date,” Nathan said before Logan could reply.

Miles stiffened. Hunter gaped.

A shocked silence descended around the table.

Wyatt pinched the bridge of his nose. “Time and place, Nathan.”

“What?” Nathan shrugged. “They were going to find out anyway.” He arched an eyebrow at Logan, his expression teasing. “Besides, better to face the music now than get stabbed in the back later.”

Miles bristled at his words.

“He’s joking,” Elijah reassured.
