Aunt Honey pulled off her beach cover-up, set it on the lounge chair, and stepped into the water.

There was one big problem, though.

If Aunt Honey was there, that only meant one thing . . .

Like clockwork, Enzo and Renzo strolled into the pool area.

“Cousin Oliver!” Renzo called. “And beautiful Grace!”

“What a pleasant surprise!” Enzo said. “Great minds think alike!”

They both slipped off their robes simultaneously to reveal lean, bronzed bodies, both wearing matching Speedos with the colors of the Italian flag.

Enzo entered the water first and moved straight toward Aunt Honey. “What a vision of beauty you are. I could kiss you all day.”

“What a coincidence—my calendar is wide open, sugar,” she said, fanning her face as he moved in and planted his lips on hers.

I leaned closer to Oliver and whispered, “A lot has certainly transpired between those two since we saw them at Atomic Adventures.”

“You’re not kidding,” Oliver said. “So much for privacy.”

“Looks like our party is just getting started!” Renzo said.

Veronica and Adriana approached two of the lounge chairs. Prince Theodore was the last to join us, pulling off his shirt and parking himself on one of the lounge chairs next to mine.

“And by the way—you cheated,” I said, even though I didn’t mind one bit. “You lost the bet, therefore you shouldn’t have been kissing me. What do you have to say for yourself?”

Oliver scratched the side of his head. “I guess I misunderstood the stakes.” He laughed.

“Uh-huh . . .” I pointed toward our things on the lounge chairs. “Go post the video.”

“I don’t have my phone with me,” Oliver said.

“Then go get it,” I said, playfully pushing him back toward the edge of the pool. “A bet is a bet.”

“And my word is my word,” he said, leading me back out of the water.

While Oliver went to get his phone, I dried off and relaxed on my lounge chair, taking a sip of my margarita.

“I would be happy to move if you are uncomfortable with my presence,” Prince Theodore said as he intently watched Veronica walk along the pool’s edge in her teal bathing suit.

I smiled. “Relax. Life is short, and besides, I have already forgiven you.”

He nodded, thinking. “You are a good person, Miss Fullerton.”

“Please, call me Grace,” I said good-naturedly.

“Thank you, Grace. And please call me Theo. It seems my brother has taken quite a liking to you and I hope that means you’ll be around a lot more,” Theodore replied.

Theodore’s gaze didn’t pull away from Princess Veronica.

He was watching her like a hawk.

There was something in his eyes that told a story . . .

It didn’t take long before the realization hit me.

“How long have you been in love with Princess Veronica?” I asked.
