He laughed. “You wouldn’t learn anything that way. But we can certainly get you enrolled anywhere you want to go, no hassle at all.”
“I want to go to college where my brother is attending.”
“That’s a given. And I’ll go too.”
“No way.”
“Yep. Someone’s got to watch out for you and your brother.”
“Yeah, but my brother hasn’t needed anyone watching out for him until I said I would go to college.”
Arman smiled. “I’ve been here with you, but what do you think the others have been doing while he’s in school?”
“Really?” She smiled. “You all are the best.”
“I love you.” He gave her a searing kiss, slipped his tongue into her mouth, and felt her growing canines.
“I’m working on that.”
“It’s only natural that they should extend when we’re kissing.” And he kissed her again.
She whispered, “I love you.”
He was so glad she was one of them—fitting right in with her family and her vampire friends. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
