Then of course there were Atlas and Colt. In the space of twelve months, her life had changed so much, becoming everything and more than she could have ever dreamed of. Today they were to become official with a bonding ceremony, and the rest of their lives together was just about to begin.

“So, are we ready then?” asked Gwen. “Because I’ve just had word from Zachary that they are ready and waiting for us to arrive, and from the sound of it, Atlas is about to start with the alpha pacing.”

Harlow laughed, thinking about how Atlas could be, especially when it came to her. “Don’t worry, Colt’ll set him straight,” she said. “And Zach.”

“I’m supposed to be maid of honor. Feels more like I’m secret service,” said Gwen, smiling.

“They can be a little uptight, huh,” Harlow replied. “Better not keep them waiting then.”

Gwen took Harlow’s arm, and they walked to the edge of the forest, which had been decorated with nothing but lanterns that carved out the path that would lead her to her mates. Harlow breathed in the forest air that now carried traces of the men she loved. She was now marked with that scent and she’d carry it forever more.

The guests were already seated and stood up as she entered the space, their smiles and gasps a welcome sound as she walked past each of them and toward the raised circle at the end of the path, its boundary marked out with pinecones, foliage, and cream roses.

She stopped at the edge of the circle that contained her mates, and when the celebrant announced that she was ready, Atlas and Colt both turned to her. Atlas swallowed hard, his eyes almost teary while Colt wore his warm smile and mouthed, “Wow.”

They each reached out a hand, and Harlow handed her bouquet to Gwen before taking each of them in hers as she stepped into the circle. There they said their vows, making promises to each other and declaring their love in front of the pack, the three of them forever bonded.

“Are we gonna skip this part?” Atlas said to her once the ceremony was over and the party had started. Soon the forest would fall into darkness, the lanterns would be lit, and they would celebrate with their pack as they danced and drank and ate.

“And why would you want to do that?” Harlow asked, stroking his cheek and narrowing her eyes.

“Why do you think?” he growled, pulling her close to him and kissing her. “You look like a goddess of the forest in this dress, but I’d still prefer you without it.”

“I bet you would,” she said, smelling the arousal on him. Her alpha always brought out both the wolf and the woman in her, and now he was hers for good. And she was his.

“Oh, I would,” he murmured against her neck.

“Then what are we waiting for? Let the pack celebrate and we’ll do it our own way.”

Atlas gave a wolfish smile, his eyes dark. “Gravecrest!” he said, causing the party to become quiet. “Thank you for celebrating with us today, marking the union between us. It’s time for our first run.”

Colt smiled and raised a glass while cheers and howls echoed around the trees. He stepped toward her and Atlas. “Thought we’d at least have something to eat,” he said.

“I’m only hungry for one thing,” said Harlow.

“Well, in that case…” he said, an eyebrow raised.

They walked back over to the ceremonial circle and stepped inside, the pack surrounding them. Harlow looked around, overwhelmed by the love and support that she now had in her life. As she stood in the circle with Atlas and Colt, she’d never felt such a sense of belonging.

Atlas led the way, shifting while she and Colt followed. The pack parted, making a path from them as they took off, just the three of them, out into the night, into the forest. Away from everyone else with just the moon and the trees watching.

They ran, fast and free, dashing through trees, jumping over obstacles. Sometimes they stopped and shifted back, stealing kisses from each other before returning to wolf form and running again.

Eventually, Atlas bolted for the house that they would all now share, approaching as wolf and entering as the perfect specimen of man that he was. Harlow and Colt followed, all of them now breathless and naked.

Atlas picked up Harlow and carried her inside, straight up to the bedroom that was now theirs. It smelled so completely of them all by now, after all of the times they’d spent together, learning how to be with each other.

Atlas laid her on the bed almost ceremoniously as they both took their places on either side of her, standing and looking down. Being in between Atlas and Colt was the most wonderful place she’d ever found herself. She looked across from one to the other, both so different in looks and personality, feeling nothing but love and desire for each of them.

She reached over, stroking Atlas’s length, and then did the same with Colt as he moaned and smiled down upon her. She ached for them both, finding it so hard to focus sometimes when the three of them were together.

Atlas lay down next to her followed by Colt. “We did it,” Atlas said, kissing her.

“We did,” she replied, kissing him back and then turning to Colt and kissing him.

“Told you we could,” murmured Colt. He was right, of course. All along he’d been the one to keep them focused on what they could achieve as a group if they just worked at it.

“Thank you,” she said, stroking his face. He took her hand a few moments later, removing it from his face and kissing it lightly before moving up her arm. As he did, Atlas nipped at her neck.
