They both turned to Shai, who narrowed his eyes slightly back at them, his gaze a tad wary.
“But… his ears are not much larger than mine,” Heba said perplexedly.
The seller chuckled and pointed to each of the tiny silver bars with beads on each side.
“This smallest one goes into the skin of his perineum. Do you know where that is?”
Heba only looked at the woman blankly until realization slowly dawned. Then, her face instantly went up in flames, and she could only nod in a scarlet daze.
“Good. Saves me explaining,” the seller huffed.

“I’m aware!” Heba hastily cut her off.
Thank the gods she’d discovered that part of Shai’s body already, or she might have been curious enough to let the woman explain in graphic detail!
