I am glad that this part is settled. Our mate will move into our quarters. I just wish she would let us claim her. She and Tan are arguing again when the com goes off.

“You are sure I am not disturbing you?” He looks worriedly at the couple marching down the hallway and then back to me. I was still distracted by the pair.
“There was nothing left to say at this point.” I am resigned to the lack of peace that this mating will mea., “Come and tell me what you are here for?” I lead him into the sitting area and gesture to a chair, before sitting myself.
“Sir, the human, Maryellen, has agreed to be my mate.” This is good news. One female will be protected.
