“Again.”

Love. Blood. As the small, crimson flow made its way over the curve of Kody’s breast, I couldn’t stop looking between her eyes and the significance of what was happening. These weren’t just words without meaning. I pressed down, cutting another half an inch before I stopped. No…this was as real as the shallow incision over her heart. My phone alerted causing me to break our stare.
