Information posted to our message for me to pay. I couldn’t back out now. I needed to know more. I had to see what was really happening for myself, and I needed to keep this guy close in case anything changed.

I hit the button, cautiously eyeing the large screens as I went through the quick process on my laptop. The girl wasn’t as she appeared in the link he sent me. She wasn’t asleep and shaking, she was awake, and she was curled into the wall she was restrained to.

“Who are you? Talk to me.”

I captured her face, running facial recognition as I moved back to the message box.

VCTYNU: Sent the bit for the show, plus the good faith amount. What now?

Handler1019: Day 3 starts in three hours. That’s midnight, EST. You be here by 11 EST. Click on the link in the forum. I’ll send you access. If you don’t click by 11:15, you miss out. Don’t be late.

The message box disappeared with no way to bring it back. It was gone, just as if our conversation never existed. It was fine. I got what I needed in the meantime. I had her. Fuck, why did she look familiar?

I stood, walking around my desk to get closer to the large screens. There were multiple views from the cameras. I headed over to the one zoomed into her trembling frame, and my eyes went right to the ink peeking around her side. I couldn’t get a good view, but there was something there. A tattoo, and it was big.

Tattoo. Tattoo. My eyes scanned the screen in a half daze. This was familiar, like déjà vu. I knew this woman. How did I know her? Had we met before?

Her sniffle filled my living room. Chattering from her teeth followed, and still I continued to close the distance. Who was this beautiful woman possibly choosing this life? It was too hard to believe this was real. People really did need this sort of environment. Did she? Could she be like so many in my old circle? I was torn. Hell, I would have paid for the yearly unlimited access long ago had I known this was consensual and she’d live. This was hardcore, but it wasn’t life threatening if she was cared for properly.

“Who are you?”

My whisper had her head turning right towards me, but she wasn’t looking at me. She was looking at the cameras. It was enough for my heart to nearly stop. I raced to my computer wondering if I hadn’t forgotten to mute my mic. I was tapped into his system. I technically could talk to her, but it wasn’t me who got her attention. I was safe with my silence.

I turned back around just in time to hear her voice break through. Her eyes were wide, and the shaking was near convulsive as she whimpered.

“No. No, please. Please. Don’t do this.”

A chuckle came from the back of the room as the man was now standing from the computer and was looking right at her.

“Face forward and lift your hands.”

“No.” Her head shook as she turned herself more into the wall. Ink nearly covered the entire side of her back, but I still couldn’t see what it was. “I’m begging you. Let me go, and I swear I’ll never tell a soul. I’ll do anything. Please! I want to go home. Let me go,” she sobbed, angrily. “I want to go home!”

The man made his way to her hastily, locking his hand in her hair as he moved in inches from her face. He was wearing a white mask with a white apron over jeans and a blue flannel shirt.

“When I tell you something, you listen. Face. Forward.”

What sounded like a roar left the woman as she began to claw and swing her arms. She went crazy, with the foot of space she was allowed, but she wasn’t close enough to do damage. The impact connected to the man’s bicep just in time for him to let go and bring the back of his hand across her face. The pop was so loud, the beast inside me awakened with a vengeance. The dominant in me seethed, but it was the darker side of me that craved to spill blood.

“What the fuck did I tell you? Did you learn nothing last night?”

The woman’s nearly limp body slid at his pull. He positioned her to the front, sitting her roughly to face the cameras. Blood ran a river from her nose and her eyes rolled. But she wasn’t shaking anymore. I was. I was damn near homicidal as I fought to stay unattached.

This could be all for the show. This could be staged or even wanted on her part.

“My…name is…Kody. I,” her breath shuddered. “I am a person. I am…Kody. I—” she gagged, and her body curled halfway into the wall again. The kick to her side had my eyes wanting to close, but they didn’t. Whether I liked it or not, I had to watch. If this was real; If this wasn’t consensual, I was going to make this motherfucker my mission. No matter what it took, I’d hunt him down and give in to the one thing I wanted more than anything. He’d pay. He’d fucking suffer for what he was doing. There had to be accountability, balance, and I was going to bring it.

Chapter 2

Kody

No more tears. No pleas. Not yet…

The table under me felt like pure ice as I stared up at the bright light above. I had no idea what could be left after everything I’d already been through. If he wasn’t going to mar my skin like on day one, and he wasn’t going to pound me into the stone like on day two, what else was there? Did I even have the strength to endure it?

I wasn’t sure what else I could take. Every inch of me felt broken. I ached from head to toe. I was so fucking tired, I could barely function. Sleep wouldn’t come. Panic never left. I was so scared it took everything I had not to break down completely. Was tonight the night? Would I die here before I ever got the chance to escape?

Freedom. It was laughable. I knew I wasn’t leaving this room. How could I? Even if I managed to unlock the shackles, I’d never get out. I had tried earlier on my bathroom break. There were no windows. No other means of escape. The man even controlled the door with his voice. It wouldn’t open for me. This was it. It was over.
