“Sleepwalking?” Sitting up, he scoots back against the headboard, not taking the sheet with him. His cock is smaller than mine, half hard and resting against his inner thigh. Not to mention he's uncut. Why can't I stop looking? When we were in the shower together yesterday, I was too focused on getting him out to pay attention to what he looked like. I was also scared of having another part of him trapped in my mind. Now, not only won't I be able to forget what his ass looks like, I'll also remember his tight pink nipples and pretty pink head poking through his foreskin.

“Like what you see?” He smirks, his hair messy and eyes lazy.

“Why are you naked?”

“I told you I don't like sleeping with clothes on. I didn't think it would be a big deal with us having separate beds. How was I supposed to know you'd want to snuggle?”

“Whatever. Get dressed. We have to get going.” I was warned he can be sneaky and tries to catch people off guard. I'm guessing all the fake flirting is part of it.

“But it's dark out.”

“I told you we were leaving early. Now splash some water on your face and drink some hotel coffee. Whatever it takes to wake you up.”

He makes a face, wiggling against the bed, his cock falling between his pale, soft looking thighs. Fuck me. He's not different from any of the guys who've flirted with me at the clubs. I've had no issues turning them down and not giving them a second glance. With him, I constantly find myself looking. Looking and… No. That can't be right.

“No thanks. Coffee is disgusting as it is. Drinking it from some hotel machine that is probably rarely cleaned only makes it worse. I bet it tastes no better than the warehouse crap.”

“They offer coffee at the warehouse?” I grab my jacket from one of the chairs and throw it on.

“Yup. Sometimes in the mornings they set out coffee for us, and every now and again we'll get surprised with stale ass donuts that have probably expired.” Turning his body, he scoots to the edge, his long, slender back and cleft of his ass teasing me.

I reach for my belt and slip it through the loops before grabbing my gun from under my pillow. “How about this then. Be ready to leave in ten minutes and I'll stop somewhere close by to grab you some fresh donuts.”

“Really?” His tone lightens and he jumps to his feet, searching the ground.

“Yup, but only if you hurry. I'll be waiting out in the hall, checking on something.”

“On what?” He bends down to pick up his shirt.

“Business that doesn't concern you.” Moving past his bed, I go to the bathroom to fix my hair, take a piss, and splash water on my face. He's fully dressed when I re-enter the bedroom and is running his fingers through his pink wavy strands.

“Use the restroom before we go. We won't be stopping for a while.” Grabbing my phone, I leave the room before he can say anything.

I pull up the location of my current mark, Gio. He's no longer hanging around a strip joint in St. Louis, and is two hours away from me instead. A week ago, I hired someone to check out the place and confirm the location I was given by his boyfriend before dropping him from the third floor of a hotel balcony. Pictures came to my phone the next day of the man flirting and hanging all over various men. I had a tracker placed at the bottom of his car and am supposed to alert Fernando when he gets too close to Kansas City, since I'm stuck here.

It looks like I won't be making that call after all. It makes no sense. He's heading in the wrong direction. I expected him to be closer to Zacharias, not me.

The door slams shut beside me. Phillip watches me with curious eyes as my gaze follows the blue dot moving across the screen.

“How long are we driving today?”

“It was supposed to be nine hours but our plans may have changed.” I slide my phone in my back pocket and head toward the elevator. He walks closely behind me and doesn't speak again until we're exiting the hotel.

“If we have to make a stop somewhere else, I'm okay with that. I'm not in a hurry to get back to sleeping in a room full of assholes.”

“I like how you say that as if I asked your opinion. If we have to make another stop, then we do. Whether you're okay with itor not doesn't matter.” I reach the car first, opening the door and then slipping inside.

He gets in after me, reaching for his seat belt. “I was just saying.”

Sticking the key in the ignition, I start the car and shift gears. “You don't always have to say something.”

“You don't know how to do small talk, do you?”

“Only when the time calls for it. Right now, I want silence and time to think.”

“Can I play music?” He reaches for the radio and I shove his hand away.

“Which part about me wanting silence don't you understand? Use the headphones.”
