I can’t believe I’m going to be his wife. I can’t believe everything I’d ever wished for is finally coming true.

I thought things like this only happened in fairy tales. I never once believed I would star in the leading role... until now.

Three years have flown by, and here we are at one of Jake’s major games after moving on to the NFL. Right now, we’re alone in a small corridor not far from the team’s changing room at the stadium. He’s nervous since they’re playing one of the best teams in the country, but his nerves seem to settle the moment he looks down at the mini version of himself cradled in my arms.

Our little Aria, just six months old, is dressed in tiny shorts and a jersey that matches Jake’s, right down to the team logo and his number thirteen. Her chubby little legs kick excitedly, and I can’t help but think she already understands the significance of the day.

“Come to me, gorgeous girl,” Jake says, his voice soft but filled with excitement. He gently lifts Aria from my arms, showering her with kisses. “My two girls,” he murmurs to Aria, his eyes brimming with admiration. “I’ve never loved anyone as much as I do you two.” He lifts his gaze to me, the love between us as strong as ever. “You make me the happiest man when you come to my games with her,” he says, his voice full of gratitude.

“How could we miss out? She has to see how incredible her dad is,” I say, adoring the affection he showers on Aria.

Leaning in, Jake kisses me softly, then whispers, “Well, I’m thinking tonight we start trying again…”

I’m puzzled for a moment. “Trying again?”

“For another baby,” he says, his eyes twinkling with excitement. “Did I mention I want a big family?”

My mouth falls open, mostly for effect, because I’m excited by the idea. “You never told me that, by the way,” I tease.

“Well, timing fits,” he continues. “Your next album isn’t coming out until later next year, so we have time, seeing you’ve already recorded it. So, is that a yes?” he asks, kissing Aria’s round cheek.

I adore how much he wants a family and how everything in my life has turned out better than I could have imagined.

“I would love that,” I say, my voice filled with love and excitement. “But then tonight, we’re doing it in my favorite position.”

“Wait, I’m not satisfying you enough?” He does a fake shock face, which has me giggling.

“Well, I really love doggie style,” I whisper, feeling a bit awkward talking about this in front of Aria.

“I’m going to have to fix that. Expect raw, red knees tomorrow.” He grins sinfully, making me chuckle.

Suddenly, he’s called into the locker room. With final kisses on her sweet face, he hands Aria back to me before turning to leave.

“Go get ’em, tiger,” I tease, feeling a rush of excitement for the game ahead.

Jake glances back. “Tonight, we’ll win—for you, for Aria. You’ll see...”

“I know you will, babe,” I respond, watching him vanish into the changing room.

Holding Aria close, I think about our growing family, our shared dreams, and I’m smiling so hard, my cheeks hurt. Life with Jake and Aria is more beautiful than I ever dreamed. Even with both our successful careers and our fame, we share one priority in our lives…

Our family.

I make my way over to the club seating, where my dad’s waiting for us. He’s going to be hyper-excited when he finds out our family’s going to expand.

“Did you hear that?” I whisper to Aria. “You’re going to have a brother or sister soon.”

She just smiles up at me, and I snuggle her closer, utterly obsessed with her.

I have no idea how I got so lucky to end up with the perfect life, but I’ll never take it for granted. Every laugh, every tear, every success I’ll remember… one beautiful moment at a time.
