I shoved him away from me as I rounded the table to pull my boy in my arms. I kissed him hard and fast.

“I’ve already apologized to him for acting like a moron. It’s really hard not to be possessive of you when someone tries to pretend like you and him had some type of relationship. I'll have to do better about my jealousy in the future.”

He shook his head. “You should’ve known he was lying. It’s only ever been you. You’re the whole reason I’m here.”

Everyone around us disappeared. It all drifted into a fuzzy background until the only thing left in my view was Ashley.

My Ashley.

My boy.

“I will always be your reason, baby.” And with that, I kissed him again, settling the jealous monster inside me once and for all. Or at least, until someone else tried to insinuate they wanted what was mine.

My dear Ashley,

I cannot tell you how amazing it was to read your last letter. Knowing that you are open to this dynamic is amazing. I’ll admit that I have no clue how to make it work long-distance, but I’m willing to try if you are.

From your reply, I’m going to assume that you do want to try. If that’s the case, then keep on reading. If it’s not, then you should probably rip up this letter right now and write me back something about sand or cats or something.

Since you’re still reading, I’m going to make a couple of rules for you. These are simple things that I would just like to see from you as your new long-distance Daddy. You can send updates with each letter. I think having a bit of structure outside of your work life will be good for you.

The first rule is that you only think of me when you touch yourself. I am holding to the rule as well. I imagine you on your knees and eager to please me every time I stroke my cock these days. It's a powerful vision that works like magic. There are also the images of us tangled together in bed that help me reach the finish line. Anything you can imagine is yours to explore.

The next rule is one that you’re not going to like as much. You have told me on numerous occasions that you struggle withhydrating, so now it’s going to be a rule. You must drink four bottles of water every single day without fail. Even when you're not stationed in the desert or on a mission, you have to stay hydrated. I know you do well in those situations. It’s the day-to-day that trips you up.

Along with your hydration, you have to eat. A body like yours needs fuel, and I mean more than candy and carbs.

And the final rule is less a rule, and more a fact. I want you to know that you have me. Through thick and thin and whatever you’ve got going on, you have me. Even if this doesn’t work out, I’ll support you. I don’t have to be your Daddy. I can simply be your friend.

Following those shouldn’t be an issue for you. The water one you’ll struggle with, but I believe in you. You wouldn’t want to have to write me that you didn’t properly hydrate. Plus, so long as you do as you need to, I can heap all the praise your way.

You want to be my good boy, don’t you?

I don’t have much to report from the ranch in this letter. I can feel a shift coming. There is a lot changing. Little things here and there, but I believe that little things turn into big things over time.

I wish you were here.

I know that no matter what happens, you and I could make it through. Whatever the changes are, you would be by my side. I’ll just pretend you’re supporting me from afar.

One day, we’ll be in the same place at the same time, right? A man can dream.

Always yours,

Daddy

Chapter Fourteen

Ashley

My life had always beena series of ups and downs. Usually, there were more downs than ups. However, since arriving at the Coleman Ranch, it had been the opposite. Here I had so many good moments.

I should’ve known it wouldn’t last.

On a random day, a day like any other, things changed. I was sent to check in with Bobby Allen. I barely remember the reason, but I knew that reaching Bobby Allen was the goal.

As I made my way through the stables and rounded the corner to speak with him, I found myself in a tricky position. One of the broncos he had brought back to the ranch several weeks ago to rehabilitate was loose and facing off with Bobby Allen.
