Rolling my eyes, I reply with, “Dramatic, much? Just because you don’t want your sister dating someone, doesn’t mean you can go around inflicting violence on anyone who goes near her.”

“Says who?” he asks, looking over at me as we step into the elevator.

“Such a caveman.” I sigh heavily.

“She’s my sister, I just want what's best for her.”

“And I love that you're such a good big brother, I do. But we both know Bee, the more you fight her on this, the harder she's going to push back. Until Clay does something that warrants your aggressiveness, back off, okay?” I give him a serious look.

“Fine.” He narrows his eyes at me. “But you! You better listen to me.”

We step out and head through the lobby.

“Listen to you about what?”

“Staying away from Ryan.”

My brows jump. “Ah, since when did you warn me off, Ryan? And I love you, Bishop, I do, but you can’t tell me to do shit. I get enough of that from Toby, I don’t need it from you too.”

“Fine,” he huffs, sounding defeated. “Don’t you remember? I said it last night at the club.”

My face heats and I bite my lower lip as we get to his Jeep. Getting in, I buckle up and look over at him. “I think I drank too much last night. I don’t remember anything after Toby won his fight.” The fight I remember clear as day because there's no way I could ever forget the way he looked up there, chest heaving and his body covered in sweat and blood. I also remember being embarrassingly turned on.

Bishop barks out a laugh. “That's a shame, because fuck, I love drunk Lilly. I need to hang out with you more when you're drinking.”

“Oh, god.” I look over at him with unease. “What don’t I remember?”

We head out of the parking lot and down the street towards my parents’ place. “I don’t know if I should tell you.” He chuckles.

“Was it that bad?” I ask, anxious nerves swarming my belly.

“Bad? I don’t know, you might think so, but you sure were funny as hell.”

“Tell me.” I punch him in the arm.

“Hey, now. Violence is no way to get me to do anything.” He laughs harder but I quickly shut him up when I reach between his legs and grab his balls.

“Tell me or I pop these fuckers like balloons,” I growl.

Instead of telling me, the Jeep goes silent because I’m touching Bishop's junk. I’ve never done that before. Also, I think I feel his dick... and fuck me, is he getting hard?

My eyes flick up to his as my body flushes with heat. He looks at me for a moment, then back to the road, but his whole body is tense.

Let go, Lilly, fucking let go.

I hold on longer than I should, and I pray that a sinkhole will open up in the road and take me away from this awkward situation.

He swallows hard and clears his throat. “Spare my jewels and I’ll tell you.” His voice comes out thicker than normal.

Snatching my hand back, I sit upright in my seat and look out the window, eyes wide in horror.

He clears his throat again. “After the fight, you went back into the locker room. Toby, of course, followed after and... well, let’s just say he wasn’t too happy to find you in a place like that. Might I add, I also wasn’t too happy that you and Bee were there. I let the guys know too. That's when I warned you both to stay away from them.”

“Okay, that doesn’t sound too bad,” I say, not able to look his way as my eyes lower to where I’m playing with the cuff of my sweater.

His voice goes back to being amused when he says, “When you were in the locker room, let’s just say you were a little... frisky with Toby.”

Now my eyes snap over to his, a newfound horror rushing through me. “What do you mean frisky?!”
