Brody steps forward, clenching his fists. “He’s on your damn shoulders! And you want to tell me you didn’t do it?”

Chase quickly puts a grinning Bennett down. “I think you need your eyes checked, man, there's no one on my shoulders.”

“You little–”

“Dad.” I burst into giggles. “Stop. You're doing exactly what he wants by getting all worked up.” I look over to Chase. “And you. Stop getting him going. You’re being an asshole.”

His brows raise. “Hey there, potty mouth, don’t make me wash it out with soap.”

I roll my eyes. “I’m an adult, I swear now, get over it.”

“Lies. Lies. Lies.” He shrugs.

I look over at Brody and Jax. I’m gonna help them out with this one. “Sex,” I say and watch as Chase’s face drops.

“What?”

“Sex,” I repeat and it’s all I say.

“No. Nope. Don’t you start.” He shakes his head.

“Sex, sex, sex.”

“My ears are bleeding,” he shouts as he covers his ears and runs away.

“Ah, what the heck is that about?” Bishop asks, an amused grin on his face.

I smirk back. “Chase refuses to acknowledge I’m an adult and therefore can and will do adult things. And when it comes to me and sex? Yeah, he loses it.” I giggle.

“Your family is so weird. I love it.” He grins wider.

“Hey, who are you calling weird?” Jax asks with a smile on his lips.

“Not you, Coach.” Bishop chuckles.

“You're like family, Bishop, just call me Jax.” He shakes his head and walks inside with Brody.

“Hey, B-Man.” Bishop greets my little brother with some bro handshake.

“Hey, Bishop. Glad you came over. Toby isn’t going to be here tonight, though.” He says Toby’s name with a bit of disappointment. It hurts my heart that he’s got this distance with Toby.

I’ve tried to talk to Bennett about it. Just because Toby and I don’t have the same closeness as before doesn’t mean he has to let it get in the way of their relationship. But he told me if Toby is going to treat me like I don’t exist, he’s going to give him the same treatment. I love my little brother and his strong love for me. But I don’t want to be the reason he loses any more time with Toby. So, I need that asshole to stop being, well, an asshole, so we can work on being friends again.

But it’s kind of hard when he dry humps me and then tells me it’s a mistake.

Ugh, no. No more thinking of that.

“I know that, dude. I’m here to hang out with your sister. And you.” He winks at Bennett and Bennett grins, shaking his head.

“Come on. I want to show you the new game Dad got me!” Bennett runs inside the house.

“You coming, Shorty?”

I smile. “Yeah.”

“DUDE! THAT WAS EPIC!” Bennett shouts as Bishop kills the boss in the game they’re playing.

Bishop grins down at him. “I know, I’m awesome.”
