“Who is trying what?” I ask, and look over to see what she's talking about. My belly turns at the sight of the girl practically shoving her tits in Toby's face. “Oh.”

“Why don’t you have any girls all over you?” Bianca asks Jonas with a raised brow.

“Who said I don’t?” he grins down at her. “You're not with me all the time. You're too busy with your new boyfriend, Bumblebee.”

“His name is Clay, and he’s not my boyfriend.” She glares at him. “We’re just messing around.”

Jonas grinds his jaw but he doesn’t say anything. I know he’s trying really hard not to be an asshole and do what Bishop did by demanding that she stay away from him. But Jonas is still being a dummy and not telling Bee how he feels, so he has only himself to blame.

Just like you haven’t told Toby how you feel. You only have yourself to blame, seeing him with other girls.

Only I pretty much did tell him, didn’t I? Not with words, but I don’t go grinding on just anyone until I’m cumming on their lap. He would have to be daft not to know.

“But I do agree. It’s pointless because, from what I heard, he hardly ever hooks up with any of the puck bunnies,” Jonas says.

Was the girl from the party a puck bunny? Or was she just some lucky girl for the night?

Nope, I’m not bringing that image up, not after I worked so hard to erase it from my mind.

“I also heard that they have this stupid bet,” Bianca scoffs. “How sad?”

“Bet?” I ask, brows furrowed.

Bianca rolls her eyes. “It’s like the more he closes himself off to them, the more they try. He’s like untouchable in a way, a rare catch. So they’ve been trying to see who can get the furthest with him. Tiffany from the cheer team said none of them have made it into his bed though. That's like the golden ticket they’re all working for. And guess who’s determined to win it?” She gives me a knowing look, and I feel like I could puke.

“Katie?” I ask, even though I already know.

“Mhhmm. But she has no chance in hell. Doesn’t stop her from trying though. You would think she would have given up after Toby chewed her out the other day.”

“He did?” My pulse quickens. “What about?”

“You,” Jonas answers. “From what I heard, she tried to justify what she did, you know... posting that video and photo of you two online.”

“I wish I could have seen her face when he knocked her down a few pegs.” Bianca giggles.

My eyes find Toby. He’s watching me. The girl tries to get his attention, but he pushes her away gently before saying something to his friends. Then he gets up and heads over to me.

“Hey,” his voice comes out slow, hesitant.

“Hi,” my response is similar.

“Order for a caramel frappuccino?” the barista calls out.

I turn to him and take my order. “Thanks.” I smile and he grins back.

“No problem,” he says and winks before turning to take another order.

A low annoyed growl sounds from next to me and I look over to see Toby glaring at the guy.

I raise a brow. “You good?”

“Can we talk?” Toby asks. “Alone.”

Bianca giggles again. “We will be over there,” she tells me, pointing to a table.

“Depends. Are you going to dry hump me and pretend like it didn’t mean anything?” I ask, crossing my arm and taking a sip of my drink.

“Lilly,” he says my name like it causes him pain. “I’m sorry about that, okay? I’m so fucking sorry. You would know that if you would just answer my calls or read my texts.”
