“Yes. Shit. I’m close,” I mumble.

The little temptress that she is removes her fingers from my taint and shoves them into my tight hole, curving them so she’s pressing against my prostate.

I lose it, my eyes closing tight and my mouth falling open as I cum, filling her throat with rope after rope of my seed.

CHAPTER 16

SCARLETT

It’s been a week of living in this house that’s more like a museum. I have no issue living in a home with Emerson’s father, hell even that bitchy wife of his, Bonnie. But this house is not a home. Its walls hold no love or caring, only money and power.

This isn’t what I picture when I think about bringing my baby into the world. I long for a home where the carefree energy of children fills every room, accompanied by the sight of toys strewn about and the echoes of laughter. I long for my kids to have the freedom to roam and fully discover the beauty and excitement that the world has to offer. Like I did before my parents died and Tobin forced me into a pretty cage.

“You look deep in thought, Cupcake. What’s on your mind?” Alistair asks as he wraps his arms around me from behind.

“Do you think Emerson would ever move somewhere else?” I stare out the window, looking out onto the gardens.

“What do you mean?”

I turn to look at him. “A different house. A house that isn’t cold and lifeless. A place we turn into a home for us and our baby.”

“I don’t know. It’s always been expected he would stay here. Raise his family here,” he tells me honestly.

“This place isn’t fit for a child. One sticky handprint on her fine china and Bonnie would come undone. I won’t subject our child to that,” I tell him as his eyes catch on something behind us. I turn around and gasp.

Releasing Alistair, my gaze lands on Emerson, whose eyes are burning with anger. “I-I-It was just a question. I’ll happily stay wherever you two are,” I stammer, hoping he knows how serious I am. “This place is big enough that we could make a wing ours. Just do a little remodeling to have our own kitchen and such. We could do that, right?”

“No.”

“We—”

“We’ll move. I’ll start looking for a place,” he cuts me off.

I open my mouth to tell him that he doesn’t have to leave his childhood home or his father. While I know they don’t see eye to eye, I understand Antonio is still his father. Emerson crosses the room and puts his finger against my lips. “You’re right. This is no place for a child to live.”

I smile a megawatt smile and jump up, wrapping my legs around him. “Thank you, husband.”

“Say it again.”

I flash him a cocky smile. “Husband.”

“You’re lucky we have dinner with my father or I’d try to put another baby inside of you.”

A giggle bursts from me. “I don’t think that’s how it works.”

“We’ll test the theory later. For now, we have to get down to dinner. Alistair, are you still going out to handle that thing we spoke about?” Emerson looks over at our other lover.

“Yes. I’ll text you when I’m back.” Alistair crosses the room, stealing me from Emerson. He sets me down on the ground and kisses me dirty. “I want you riding my cock when I get back. Do you understand, Cupcake?”

I nod.

“Go to dinner with our man. But, don’t let that bitch, Bonnie, get to you.” He kisses my nose and then Emerson before he exits the room, leaving Emerson and me alone.

“We should head down.” Emerson heads to the door, holding it open for me. “After you, Little Star.”

A smile finds my face as I walk past him and head down to the dining room. My stomach rolls at the thought of having to sit through a dinner with Antonio and Bonnie, but I guess this is what I was signed up for.

With our arms linked at the elbow, Emerson and I make our way into the dining room. He pulls out a chair for me and I slide into it, taking a napkin and setting it in my lap. He settles into the seat on my left, creating a barrier between Antonio and me.
