Rax growls, then kisses me hard, snaking his tongue into my mouth. “Hurry up, sweet pea,” he mutters against my mouth. “We have about an hour before we have to head back. Zeke, want to stay the night instead of driving back here?”

“Sounds good. I really will be sleeping though. I can’t hang with you two horn dogs.” Zeke turns me to him, kissing me quickly. “Lucky man, Rax.”

With a slap on my ass, Rax follows Zeke out. Fresh sheets are on the bed, so I get busy cleaning up after us, smiling as I think about what they just did to me. Every time I move, my ass stings and I don’t think I’ve had a better feeling, besides when Rax fucks me. That always feels good and new.

I find Zeke’s hamper and tuck the soiled sheets inside, straighten my clothes and hair, then head to the party. Not many of the guys are inside still, most moving outside where the bikes are. One prospect—Sam, I think—is behind the bar, wiping a glass down. I give him a nod and head to where everyone else is gathered.

Before I can step outside, my arm is grabbed by the other prospect, Telly. The one who dragged me the first day. I snatch my arm away and he holds his hands up, chuckling. “My bad. Didn’t mean to scare you.”

“You didn’t,” I say nervously. Something shifty about his eyes makes me not trust him. I try to step around him and he blocks my path. “Excuse me.”

“Where ya goin’ so fast? Thought you were gonna make the rest of us as happy as Rax and the enforcer.” His hand drifts down my front, a finger swiping against my nipple.

I smack his hand away. “No. That’s not me.”

“Aw, come on.” He grabs my hand roughly and tugs me towards a bathroom. “I know your ass is nice and ready, so I can get right in you.”

“Fucking let go!” I roar, fighting against him.

Unlike me, he’s a big guy, so my fighting does nothing. In fact, it seems to excite him. His eyes dance and a wicked smile curves his lips. “Don’t be like that, slut. We all know what this is. No hangarounds were invited to the party, so you’ll be the one passed from brother to brother.” We’re close to the bathroom, and I dig my heels in to stop him.

“I’m with Rax. He’ll fucking kill you!”

Telly stops and grabs the front of my shirt. “He won’t do shit. You’re the entertainment for tonight, so get in that bathroom and get on your fucking knees. You can either do what I say, or I’ll make you do what I say. Choice is yours.”

Spitting in his face, I growl as angrily as I can, “I won’t do shit. Get your filthy fucking hands off me.”

One minute, he’s grabbing at me, the next, Telly is across the room, his head hitting the toilet in the bathroom he tried to drag me into.

I look up and see a furious Rax, his face red with anger. “You’ve fucked with the wrong guy, motherfucker.”

Stalking over, Rax grabs Telly’s collar and tosses him back out of the bathroom and Telly’s face smacks against the wall with a sickening crunch. “Fuck!” Telly exclaims, grabbing his broken nose. “What the fuck, man?”

“You were trying to rape what’s mine?” Rax asks rhetorically before his boot comes down on Telly’s face, making sure his nose is not only broken, but demolished. The other brothers come in, but no one tries to help Telly. Well, Sam tries, but the patched brothers hold him back. Fuck him too. He sat there and was going to allow Telly to violate me if Rax didn’t intervene.

Rax grabs the front of his shirt and punches a dazed Telly repeatedly in the face.

I try to intervene, to get Rax to stop, but Zeke grabs my arm. His face is impassive as he watches the scene in front of him. “Let him do his thing,” he tells me. “One lucky man.”

I’m not sure what that means, but I don’t fight against Zeke's hold. I don’t want to stop Telly from getting his ass beat because I care about him getting his ass beat. Fuck him. I just don’t want Rax’s last night with his brothers to be spoiled because of that piece of shit.

I watch Telly try to push Rax off, but my man won’t be stopped. He drops Telly, stands, and kicks him in the stomach. Telly doubles over, then Rax kicks him in the face, making his head snap back.

Breathing heavily, Rax bends down and snatches the prospect vest from Telly’s back. “You’re fucking done in this club, you rapist piece of shit.”

“You can’t do that. You’re not the Prez,” Telly says on a groan, coughing and groaning.

“No, I am,” Prez says from behind us all. “And you’re fucking done. You don’t fuck with anyone’s property in this house. You knew Finn belonged to Rax. He’s still a member of this club. And we don’t allow rapists to ride with us. Get your shit and get the fuck out.”

Rax snatches him to his feet. “Before you go, apologize.” He shakes Telly in my direction. It’s hard, but I stand taller and meet Telly’s eyes. They’re already starting to swell and his nose is a mess on his face. His lips have ballooned to twice their size and he has blood all down his face and front.

Coughing again, Telly says in a garbled voice, “I’m sorry.”

I drag my eyes from his to look at Rax and I nod. My heart swells. I’ve never had anyone fight for me before. Literally fight for me. If I didn’t know before, I know now—I’m in love with this man.

With my acceptance, Rax drops Telly, who crumples at Rax's feet. Rax moves around the downed man and walks over to me, snatches me forward and kisses me so deep that I feel it in my soul. “You okay?” he asks when we separate.

“I am now,” I whisper.
