He swallowed all of me the best he could, licking at whatever he missed before pulling his mouth off my cock with a pop. His pupils were dilated and he looked so wrecked, his body lazily moving forward and back. I lowered myself to kiss him and stroke his cock until he was screaming into my mouth.

I held on to him, dragging his larger body into my lap. He rubbed his face into my neck and I kissed his warm, wet lips. He tasted like me and him all at once. What a wonderful combination. What a wonderful experience.

“I think tomorrow I'll show you what all I learned today.”

He laughed, warm air brushing the skin of my cheek. “I can't wait.”

“Me either. I've waited so long for someone like you, Franky and now that you're here, I feel so damn impatient all the time. Everything is right in front of me and I want nothing more than to take all of it. All the damn time.”

“Then take it,” he kissed me, “Take all of it.” He straddled my lap, sliding his cock between my already growing erections. I couldn't believe we were both hard again, and I couldn't believe this was all really happening. I’m not sure I ever would. Frankywas a dream I was worried I'd wake up from at any moment, and I wanted to stay sleeping with him forever. I no longer felt like anything was missing when he was around. What I got from the human world before was just stuff and Franky was everything.

The last few days with Nova were unpredictable and stayed with me on my way back home. He was sleeping when I left the hotel and wouldn't open his eyes long enough for me to tell him a proper goodbye. Not wanting to disturb him anymore than I already had, I pressed a kiss into his hair and took in the sight of him one more time before walking out of the hotel room. I left him a present on the small table with a note on top, something else I brought him from the human world. Some dried out flowers. They didn't have any magic like the ones he gave me or did anything useful, but they were beautiful like him. Bright, colorful and fought to keep going everyday.

Edgar was waiting for me outside the hotel and we had a quiet drive to the gate. The walk to the truck after we went through theportal was silent too, and it wasn't until we were almost at my house that he said, “I think we have a problem.”

My gaze quickly went from the heart Nova drew on my hand to my friend's hard expression. “What do you mean?”

“There's been someone bringing dangerous flowers and mushrooms from the monster world to the human world. Henry says Nova is rumored to have been responsible for the trade.”

“That can't be. I mean I don't think he'd give anyone anything dangerous.”

“Do you know that for sure?”

Did I? He did say there were sides of him I didn't fully know. Is this what he was warning me of? “I know he would never intentionally cause anyone harm.”

“Did he tell you what happened to the man who made him?”

“What?” My heart twisted. “What about him?”

“Leland was a bad man. A serial killer.”

“Wait…Leland is—”

“The man who made Nova. It's assumed he created him out of loneliness when he fled through the portal. He was gone from the human world but still was causing problems. People went missing and other criminals were hiding their evidence in the new portals he was creating. Then it all stopped. No more portals were being made and no one heard from him in a while. He was just gone. The men he was meeting up with for fucked up trades, made a deal with the cops to help bring him in for some plea bargain but he stopped showing up to their usual meeting spots, and they could no longer reach him by raidio.”

“So what are you saying?”

“Nova was seen by another monster, tossing what he suspected to be human remains into a pond near his house. He killed him, Franky. It's why he keeps getting rejected into the human world. He's dangerous. Unpredictable.”

I took a few minutes to consider what he was saying. “Is there proof of him harming anyone else?”

“No but that's not the point. He killed a human.”

The person he was talking about didn't sound like the man I spent the last three days with. It was like he was talking about a stranger. I thought back to what Nova said.

Certain things bring out certain sides of me.

Arousal brought out dirty talk, holding him brought out a vulnerable side, while kissing made him sweet and loving. Maybe only bad behaviors and situations turned him violent.

“A bad human. A serial killer. Sounds like he did everyone a favor.”

Running a rushed hand through his hair, he parked in front of my house. “Are you even listening?”

“Yes I am, but these aren't even all the facts. Neither of us know if what all these people are saying are true. Harmful rumors of that world are made up all the time, and I know Nova. I don't know them. I want to hear his side of the story before I jump to any conclusions.”
