I didn't know. But I guessed part of why I would want to go on this date was to find out.

After checking myself in the mirror. I left my house to see Ronald waiting for me just outside. He came in a nice car. Usually, he had drivers that drove him, but I guess he wanted this to be more intimate, so he sat in the driver's seat this time.

Ronald came out of his car after seeing me, and I walked toward him. "You look amazing," he said after we hugged.

Look at who is talking, I wondered. He had his hair slicked back and wore casual attire. Well, casual for him. Ronald normally wore tuxedos and other high-level suits. Sometimes, he wears those long coats that reach the knees. They all looked great on him, as his outfit did today.

Ronald wore nice black shorts with a white buttoned shirt. He also rolled the sleeves up and had a beautiful-looking Rolex watch. The entire vibe gave 'pretty chill' which I loved, and it made him look even hotter for some reason I couldn't explain. Perhaps he looked more unpredictable. New?

"Thanks, you look great yourself." My cheeks burned, so I looked at the ground, trying to hide my shyness. He made me have butterflies dancing in my stomach.

I guessed somewhere in the crevices of my mind I still didn't believe I deserved to be with this man. I mean, what did he see in me? A man of his caliber and status… I'm sure there existed other hot girls he had met or could meet if he wished.

He opened the door for me and said, "Shall we?" I hummed affirmatively, getting into the car.

This car was different from the previous one I saw arriving to work in. Well, it wouldn't be surprising that a rich man like him had many cars. I got the vibe that Ronald didn't want to go too overboard on the date so I wouldn't think he was showing off. I mentioned to him once about how I didn't like people showing off too much. Did he consider that, or did I overestimate my importance to Ronald? I was just reading too much into it, probably.

"I decided not to do too much," he said, all but confirming my thoughts.

"That's fine. I don't like it too much either," I replied. "So where are we headed?"

"You'll see." His smile got me excited. That would be something I'd like.

Or maybe something a bit too much for me? Well, he did say he wasn't going to go overboard, so I felt relaxed on that end.

"How was your day? What did you do?" Today was a Saturday, so I didn't go to work.

"I had a song playing in my head in the shower, so I decided to try to compose something, but it wasn't working out too well. That made me go and watch Shark Tank instead."

He quickly whipped his head toward me with a shocked expression.

"Eyes on the road, you're gonna kill us both."

"You watch Shark Tank?!" He said that with such an amount of disbelief that I almost wanted to push back, asking why he got so surprised.

"Yeah," I said, shrugging. Ronald raised his eyebrow, taking his focus back to the road but still glancing at me now and then. "I like the pitches and seeing how the whole stuff is done."

"Wow. Never would have pegged you for a Shark Tank girl."

"Why?" I wasn't offended but I almost wanted to be.

Ronald chuckled and we continued that discussion until we got to the venue of our date. I beamed with joy when I saw it was an amusement park. This one looked smaller than the typical ones but still nice.

"You're joking." I glared at him with utter joy in my heart, my jaw on the floor.

"I'm dead serious. I heard from Carmen that you love to play the mini sports at parks and resorts, and even go on the Ferris wheel sometimes, despite being scared to death."

I squealed like a baby excited to get a toy. We came down from the car - well, he came down then opened the door for me like a gentleman - and rushed in, engaging in a variety of activities, from bowling to golf to mini basketball.

"How are your parents?" Ronald asked as we ate cotton candy.

"They're fine. Of course, they worry about me and are always up in my business, but I love that about them."

"I'm glad you're pretty close," Ronald said with a tinge of sadness, leading me to be curious. Did this have something to do with his daughter? He had a distressed look on his face when talking to her the other day.

"So, you have a daughter." I tried leading the conversation to that area.

"Yeah, don't tell anyone, okay? Well, I guess some people already know but yeah, I'd rather not everyone realize this."
