‘I do,’I responded, then I looked back at our warriors. “I believe we’ll be fine. Why don’t you go have some fun?” I told them. All but Zack, began to move towards a group of women dancing with each other, while Gabriel moved to the side to sit but didn’t join anyone. “Not interested in some dancing, Zack?” I wanted to know, noticing one woman making her way towards us.

“Don’t know how, Alpha. I have two left feet,” he replied as his face reddened. The woman reached us. She was quite pretty, her tanned skin shining against the moon and floodlights. She stood before Gillian, who was staring at her as if frozen.

“Bailas conmigo?” she asked him shyly. Gillian was still frozen, staring at the woman as if she was a mirage.

“She said dance with me?” Celeste leaned over and nudged him. It brought him out of his stupor because he suddenly blushed, and the pretty she-wolf laughed at his shyness, which I suppose could pass for an adorable trait.

“I promise I don’t bite until the fourth dance,” she said, and Gillian’s blush deepened as he stumbled upward and allowed the she-wolf to lead him to the dance floor.

‘Can I teach Zack?’Celeste asked.

‘Can you teach him what?’I asked back.

‘To dance.’She laughed.

‘Of course, love, but save me one or two,’I answered.

“Come, Zack. We’ll have you dancing before the night is over,” Celeste told my warrior, holding out her hand. Zack visibly paled and looked at me with wide eyes. I briefly wondered if he was scared of me or wanted me to save him from Celeste.

“Just keep your hands in the safe zones,” I reminded him. Not that I had anything to worry about. In the months he’d guarded Celeste, he‘d been nothing but respectful. When Zack still didn’t move, Celeste huffed and pushed him to the dance floor, and I decided he was definitely more scared to dance than of a jealous alpha mate.

“I’m surprised you let your mate dance with someone else.” Alpha Diego came and sat down, offering me a drink.

“I trust Celeste, and I trust my guard.” I shrugged as I watched Celeste trying to show Zack how he should move his feet. The man had a permanent blush on his face and was moving stiffer than a two-by-four. I could hear Atlas laughing in the back of my head, and Gabriel had pulled out his phone with a grin.

“Most alphas are not keen on anyone touching their mate,” Alpha Diego pointed out, looking at me as if I were an anomaly.

“Most alphas don’t volunteer to give up their alpha status either,” I countered, and he laughed.

“They would if my mother raised them. I have lived under the shadow of strong women all my life. They routinely kicked my ass growing up.” I tipped my drink in his direction. Zack was now trying to learn how to move his hips and had attracted the attention of a few females who were eye-fucking him and giggling.

I looked over to Gillian and the she-wolf. They didn’t look as if they were aware of anyone else on the dance floor, dancing in their own little bubble. I thought back to what Celeste said earlier about Gillian finding his mate. I’d never seen him this interested in another woman before. We were five days away from the full moon. Maybe... my head turned back to Celeste when I saw a woman approaching them. Celeste took a step back with a smile while they talked, and then she turned to look at me and gave me a come hither look.

“Pardon me. I believe I am being asked to dance with my mate.” I put my drink down and walked over to Celeste.

“Do you need a lesson, too?” she teased when I reached her. I grabbed her hand and spun her around a few times.

“I’ll have you know, they teach us salsa dancing during alpha training,” I said as she giggled into my arms.

“Really?” she asked, her beautiful blue eyes twinkling up at me.

“No, but Gillian’s mom made us take dance lessons since we were eight,” I explained as we danced. Two hours and a lot of dancing later, I could feel Celeste’s exhaustion.

“I think it’s time to sleep, Tuli,” I said, picking her up and cradling her to my chest. She only snuggled into me in response.

‘You can all enjoy the evening, but watch your alcohol consumption, and don't disrespect our host pack. We are heading to bed,’I mind-linked Gillian and the warriors.

‘Yes, Alpha,’ they responded.

“Thank you again for hosting us, Alpha Diego. We will see you in the morning,” I said as I passed by the table Alpha Diego and his mother were at.

“Yes, we have much to discuss,” Alpha Diego said.

I carried my sleepy mate to the suite and removed her shoes, shirt and pants. I tried to dress her, but she just grunted and curled into bed, so I removed her bra, locked the door and stripped down to my boxer briefs before I climbed into bed with her. I put an arm around her tiny bump, and I felt the pups’ heartbeats, strong and steady, as I fell asleep.

My eyes fluttered open when I felt Celeste’s hands in my hair, her long, tanned legs in full view in front of me. My head was on her lap, so I turned around to look up at her face, and my dick instantly stood at attention when my eyes landed on the bottom swells of her glorious breasts. She was sitting against the headboard.

“Good morning. Like the view?” she teased.
