“Well, this was fast,” a deep voice drawled from my right. My head snapped in that direction, and one of the triplets was standing there shirtless with his arms crossed over his wide chest. “I mean, I knew we all liked her and would probably be with her but not in the same day.”
Horror filled me as I felt myself completely pale. I shoved atnotJesse’s chest.
He frowned and leaned back, his eyes going wide at whatever he saw. He gently pulled out of me and winced as I almost fell off the counter as I tried to get away.
I ducked him and stumbled back so I could see them both, tying up my robe. “I didn’t know,” I choked out. “I didn’t mean to cheat.”
“What?” they said together.
“He was wearing your shirt!” I shouted with a bit of a screech.
Jesse cursed under his breath. “We all have that shirt.”
The one I guessed was Jackson given he was the only one who called me sparkles let out a shaky breath. “You didn’t know it was me?”
I shook my head. “You were wearing the same shirt and backwards. It’s early. What are you even doing here so early?”
“I was thinking of trying to make breakfast,” he muttered. “I don’t know how to connect with you—”
“Oh, you connected all right,” Jesse grumbled, sighing when I started tearing up. “I’m sorry, kitten. It was a shock to walk in on.”
“I wait until a pathetic age to lose my virginity and now I’m a cheating slut. Fuck my life,” I whispered in horror.
“It’s not your fault,” he murmured, coming closer. “It’s Jackson’s.”
“Mine? How was this my fault? I thought she knew it was me.”
“And does she strike you as a person to not even flirt with you or kiss you but then go right to kitchen sex?” Jesse drawled.
“Well, no, but she mentioned the new moon riding her. And well, she was kinda naked, so any rational thought went out the window then.”
When he put it like that, I didn’t really blame him either. “I’m so sorry. Both of you.”
“Don’t be sorry, nugget,” Jared said from behind me. “I’m just hoping that means the door is open for me too.”
I tried to swallow a sob but instead had flashbacks when I realized the three of them were surrounding me. I shoved past them but not fast enough as I felt the metal of the restraints bite into my skin.
I felt their eyes on me as they said everything they were going to do to me and mocked me for being pathetic next to my mother. That they would do anything forherincluding dirty things with me.
I swallowed a scream as my magic flared and I ran for my room, thinking if I could get to the wards there I would be safe. My panic made me stumble and the floor shifted on me.
After what felt like forever, I finally made it and onto my bed, hiding under the covers where I was safe.
And remembered how I’d just had sex with Jesse in this bed. It made the horrors of the past pull back momentarily and left me with the shit I was in now.
I burst out sobbing, wailing at what I’d done and how horrible of a person I was, that fear and pain from my memories riding me.
Then they swallowed me under and there was nothing I could do to stop them.

Some of the best moments of my life were then followed by the worst.
Being with Larissa, feeling her body wrapped around mine, the intense chemistry and connection was unlike anything I’d ever imagined and perfect. It was everything.
