“Because we kept stocking it up for this,” Levi admitted. “And you’ve been focused on doing so many new fences and protection projects we just mentioned you needed more.” He shrugged. “You’ve been burning the candle from every direction and Thora said this would be the biggest charge for the year, so we took the chance you could charge enough totems to fill a crate.”
She opened her mouth and then closed it, trying again and shaking her head. “I don’t know if I should punish you both or blow you.”
“Both,” they answered.
“Oh good, so we’re not the only ones who would answer that,” Jackson said, sounding amused.
“Nope,” a few others assured them, making several witches laugh in amusement or give their men heated looks.
The best was when we showed Briony everything that had been delivered that filled several of our garages and a bit of the barn.
“Okay, this was excessive,” Briony drawled. “No wonder Larissa was panicked, you twits.” She glanced over at me with a wink. “Oh darn, I guess you’ll have to go have more sex with your hot triplets.”
I watched as Jared went over to Theo and Levi, hugging each of them before coming back to me. He tossed me over his shoulder and told his brothers to grab the right totems I needed.
“Put me down, you goof.”
“No, I caught my nugget and I want to do that again. It’s my birthday, and I’ll fuck my witch’s sweet ass if I want to.”
“That isnothow that song goes,” someone called over, everyone dying of laughter as I was sure my whole body turned bright red.
“Be careful how bratty you are with your witch,” Briony warned. “Larissa, I brought a gift for you to help train your spoiled familiars.”
“We’re housebroken, thanks,” Jackson drawled.
“Dude, shut the fuck up and accept it,” Levi hissed. “Like seriously. You’ll thank Briony.”
Interesting. I gave her a wink that we’d talk later as I was toted off.
And this time, I wasn’t scared, only excited.
And that sounded more like the perfect present for me, but they swore I was a present from Gaia for them, so it all worked out.
