Rex grins at me when he pulls away and I’m mesmerized by the sparkle in his green eyes.

Before I know what’s happening, Zeke’s grabbing onto my arm. I giggle as he playfully swings my body towards his.

“I missed you already,” Zeke grins, placing his hands on my hips before leaning in. His lips press against mine softly as Zeke kisses me in turn.

“Care for a drink?” Rex has positioned himself behind the bar when Zeke has finally pulled away. He’s lifting one dark eyebrow as he smiles mischievously at me.

“I suppose it could settle my nerves,” I reply, unable to resist smiling back.

Rex plays bartender, immediately beginning the assembly of my whiskey sour, as Zeke holds my hand to help me onto a barstool.

“What are you nervous about?” Rex asks. He places the glass on the bar in front of me before his green eyes gaze into mine.

I sigh, looking down to stir the drink with its tiny, black straw. “Are you really sure this is all going to work out?”

I can feel Gunner shift in his seat on the stool next to me.

“I mean, you really think that my dad is going to let me stay here?” I bite my lip and shake my head. “Along with paying y’all that money back?”

“Goldie, we’re the Grim Riders.” Rex takes one of my hands and grasps it between his two large ones. “That’s the penalty that your father is going to have to pay.”

“We will protect you,” Zeke swears, placing his hand on my knee.

“And you’re a grown-ass, free fucking woman,” Gunner growls. “Your father has no power over you.” He reaches over to squeeze my other thigh.

“So, the four of us will just be together? Live happily ever after?” It just seems too good to be true.

Rex chuckles and his green eyes glimmer. “We will. You’ll just have to give us all relatively equal attention.”

It feels like my heart is swelling inside of my chest. I feel my face break into a huge smile.

“I think I can handle that,” I say.

Rex brings my hand to his lips and kisses the top of it softly. When he releases me, I take a swig of my drink.

“You know,” Zeke begins, his bright blue eyes sparkling. “I have another way to settle your nerves.”

“Oh, really?” I ask, arching one eyebrow. Zeke waits for me to take another sip of my whiskey sour before he makes his move.

I sit there, stunned, as Zeke stands and swings my body around to face him. He steps between my thighs and coaxes me to wrap my legs around him. Sitting on the stool, I’m the perfect height to circle my legs around his waist.

Zeke wraps his arms around me as he kisses me. At first, he’s gentle, but then he cajoles my lips apart. Heat surges through my groin as Zeke’s studded tongue slips into my mouth.

I should have known the kind ofdistractionthat Zeke had in mine.

Zeke is pressing his hips against me and I’m lost, a captive to this passion. I can feel his bulge growing as he threads his fingers through my hair. His hands make their way down slowly, running along the length of my back and eventually cupping both cheeks of my ass.

I let out a shriek when Zeke suddenly lifts me. I’m dangling in the air with my legs wrapped around him while he carries me towards a table.

“This will be better,” Zeke says, gently placing me down on the table’s surface. “So we all have access,” He adds, grinning wickedly.

My eyes dart towards to door to the outside.

“Someone could walk in any moment,” I breathe in protest.

“Don’t worry, Goldie,” Rex coaxes, walking over. “We’ll hear them coming.”

I hesitate, but I don’t realize that I’m biting my lower lip until Gunner growls. He stares at me lustily, only breaking eye contact when he pulls his shirt over his head. The sight of his thick, muscled chest influences my decision.
