He laughed. “Toby, do you think I’d endanger what the two of us have found together for a meaningless physical connection with an old friend?”
“Ah. He’s your friend.”
“Yes,” Alastair said. He went into the living room and sat down on the sofa. “We were other things to each other in the past, but that’s all done. I promise.”
A huge wave of relief hit me, and I moved forward, straddling Alastair where he sat as he enfolded me in his arms.
“Fuck. Thank God,” I murmured, snuggling into him and inhaling his scent.
“You were really scared I’d—?”
“Yes.Have you seen him? Wait! Never mind. Of course, you have. More of him than I have.”
“Toby.”
“I’m sorry I’m being so dumb.”
He tightened his arms and shushed me.
“It’s… I don’t even know why you’re worried…”
“Oh my God, Alastair.Look at me.I’m nowhere near as beautiful as Nigel.”
“You’re right.”
I stiffened and went to pull away.
“You’re much prettier.”
“Sure, sure,” I said with a huff.
I felt his hands like iron grips on my arms, and he pushed me away so that I was still astride him but not collapsed against his chest.
“Do I need to spank some fucking sense into you?” Alastair said with a tone that verged on this side of anger and tipped into major frustration.
Another spike of desire went from my brain to my balls and back again.
“What?” I said in a whisper.
He stared at me. Then he cupped my chin in his hand.
“You don’t evengethow lovely you are. And it’s such afuckingshame.”
“No, that thing you said about spanking. Could you?”
He rolled his eyes and tried to stay mad. But then he laughed. “Do you want a spanking, my self-conscious, insecure, beautiful boy? Do you?”

I shrugged. “Maybe.”
He raised his eyebrows.
“Yes, Sir. I will.” And I gave him a coy little smile as I felt myself returning to my usual level of confidence.
“All right then. Go upstairs, take off all your clothes and fold them neatly on the chair, then come down here and put yourself across my lap.”
