“What I want is to finish what I started this morning.”

My brows caved. “What are you talking about?”

He stalked closer, pulling me out of the closet. “Get on the bed, Daisy.”

Heat slid up my chest, practically choking me. His command, the way he’d ordered me…it was fire in my core.

“What did you start?” Because I knew him, he’d never touch me while I was asleep or drunk. He was an asshole, but he’d never go that far. Deep down, I trusted him and while he was hot as fuck with that mouth, he was also very protective.

“I’ll tell you in a second, but first, get on the bed.”

He stalked forward, and I fell back on the mattress.

“Truth or Dare, Daisy?”

My heart raced indecently fast at his words. Tossing them out there as if that simple game wasn’t the reason he’d first made me want him. Playing Truth or Dare with Killian was a dangerous activity and exactly how we got into trouble three months ago. It was the sole reason I left early. But also the reason I came back.

I tried to turn over. “Pass.”

Killian had lowered to the bed, and his hand clamped down on my hip, stopping me from fleeing.

“You’re in the president’s bed. You owe me a game.”

“This is my bed!” My voice came out as a shrill, my fists balled up as they pressed into his chest.

“Choose, Daisy. Truth or Dare.”

I waited. Still not liking that he thought he could boss me around.

“What are you going to do if I don’t pick?”

He laughed, his face lowering until he was mere inches from my lips. “For starters, I’m going to drink your coffee and eat your scone, and I’ll do it while you watch me.”

“You got me coffee and scones?” Was he bluffing?

How long had he been awake? I couldn’t risk missing out on the scones, so I made a decision.

“Fine,” I huffed, thinking over my decision. Truth had got us into the most trouble last time we played, and I knew Killian would respect whatever boundary I put in place if I said Dare…regardless if he might push it, it would still be the most harmless.

“Dare.”

His smile could not be rivaled, especially as his eyes focused on my lips.

“I dare you to let me tie your hands above your head.”

His wolfish smirk had unease sliding through my stomach, and unfortunately pooling between my legs.

“That’s it, you’re only going to tie my hands?”

He shrugged. “Sure.”

I stared at him, trying to gauge his real intentions. Why else would he want to tie my hands together unless he planned on touching me?

“Okay.” I surrendered. “But I’m getting under the blanket first.”

I slid under the covers, pulled them to my chin, and then held my wrists out to him.

I should have known better.
