I wasn’t proud of it, but I also wasn’t sorry. The entire night I thought over our encounter in the house, the only place I never took anyone. The place I was most ashamed of. Being with Laura was like having the chance to be the one thing I was afraid of being with anyone. I could be honest, vulnerable and it didn’t matter because she wasn’t staying.

But for some reason, she was stuck in my head.

So when Wes came back and carried Callie upstairs, I decided to text her. I knew she was asleep, but I had to make sure she had this on her phone the second she woke up.

Me: what if I don’t want you to go?

I did though. I knew I did. This thing I felt would pass. She was just a pair of tits, and a fucking fantastic piece of ass. It was just physical.

I set my phone down, and walked around my house. Made a sandwich and then returned to the couch where a new text waited for me.

Laura: aren’t you supposed to be with the twins tonight?

With a smile, I texted her a picture of my sandwich.

Laura: My god that’s a lot of mustard. Did you even add mayo?

Me: Of course I did, on one side like a normal person, the other side is mustard.

Laura: So you add mayo to only one side of the bread, and only mustard to the other?

Taking another big bite of my sandwich, I chewed while responding.

Me: yes…that’s perfectly normal.

There were a few minutes until she replied again, and a GIF of a monster came through.

I laughed, nearly choking on my food.

Laura: Seriously though, you’re so weird. That is not normal at all. What happened with the twins? Bet you at least one of them could have prepared you a better sandwich than that.

Me: I was lying about the twins, okay?

Laura waited before responding again, forcing me to fidget, which resulted in me cleaning. Once the floor was spotless, and the kitchen was perfect, I tugged my shirt free, and settled back into the couch.

Suddenly a FaceTime request came in from Laura, making my stomach flip.

I answered, and the small side lamp illuminated her face. She was stunning.

“You have mustard on your face. That was the only reason I called, had to see…k goodnight.”

“No, you don’t, you better wait.” I laughed, while swiping at my jaw.

She smiled while digging deeper into the covers.

“Can’t sleep?”

She shook her head and then looked up at the ceiling.

“Sort of wish I had packed earplugs.”

I gave her a sympathetic wince.

“They fucking or fighting?”

She let out a sigh and turned on her back, the camera going with her, but now the swells of her breasts were visible. I tried not to look, but fuck she was perfect and it was late, and I was hard.

“A little of both.”
