"I need to go to the bathroom," I said.

Sasuke blinked and then let out a laugh. "Of course you do, babe. I guess I should have woken you up before I left. Let's get you to the bathroom."

I was startled at his casual tone. He was acting like we were friends or something. This was definitely not a captor and hostage sort of conversation.

Sasuke set down the coffee and moved the chair upright with ease.

I gasped at the sudden movement, feeling dizzy. My bladder continued to ache as he untied me. My eyes darted around. Could I make a run for it now? Not likely. I knew he had a gun under his jacket and I wouldn't call his bluff on using it.

"Here," he said as the ropes fell to the floor. He helped me stand, pulling our bodies close together.

My breath caught in my throat.

His grip was firm and warm, and I felt a strange surge of adrenaline rush through me. We stood so close that my breasts pressed against his chest, sending delicious little sparks of pleasure down my spine. I swallowed hard, focusing on staying composed and maintaining my composure.

"I-I'm gonna pee myself," I stammered, desperately trying not to sound like a child.

Sasuke chuckled and led me to the bathroom, his hand firmly anchored around my waist. With a firm push, he forced me into the bathroom.

"Don't keep me waiting, babe," he said as he closed the door.

I took my time on the toilet, wondering why he was being so nice. Of course, I had no way to escape. No bathroom window, and he was waiting right outside the door. I could see his shadow moving.

I turned on the faucet and used the time to check if there was anything I could use to defend myself in the bathroom, but I was out of luck. There was nothing but towels and soap in here.

The yellow lights cast shadows over my tired face. I barely looked like myself right now. I reminded myself of a trapped animal or wild woman. My hair was messy, my clothes were wrinkled, and my skin was marred with red streaks where the ropes had dug into me all night.

I glanced at the door. I had to go back out there and face whatever my captor had planned for me.

Whatever happened, I couldn't be afraid, and I couldn't give in to him. I had to get out of this. I needed to take care of Mom because she sure as hell couldn't take losing another daughter. I had to survive for her. I had to survive for my Rebecca.

Whatever Sasuke had planned... I had no choice but to play along.

For now.

After cleaning up asbest as I could, I left the bathroom with my head held high, determined not to look like a pathetic weakling.

Sasuke leaned against the wall. I didn't miss how his eyes flicked over my body, lingering at the red x that his ropes left between my breasts.

"Feeling better?" He asked.

"Yes, thank you," I said, my tone clipped. "I don't suppose one of those coffees is for me?" I asked sarcastically.

"Actually, it is," he said. Sasuke gestured to the chair.

I glanced at it, fear creeping into my body. "You're not going to tie me up again, are you?"

"Nah, I think we're past that," he said, handing me the coffee.

I couldn't shake how weird this felt. A few hours ago, he was waving a gun in my face, and now he was being all nice and buying me coffee. Whatever had gone on over the phone while I was asleep, it must have been big.

I sat on the chair and sipped the coffee. It was good, likely from the cafe in the hotel. Judging by the light coming through the window, there was probably still continental breakfast being served. My stomach growled at the thought of food. I sipped the coffee again. This would have to do for now.
