The creature, in its final act of defiance, lashed out blindly, its massive hand closing around my wrist once again.

I screamed in terror and frustration as the weight of the beast dragged me down, accelerating our descent into the abyss.

I looked up at the rapidly retreating edge of the arena, my last glimpse of the world I’d known for what felt like an eternity.

And hoped I would never have to see it again.

Below us, a vast expanse of nothingness.

Space.

As we plummeted further, a strange calm overcame me.

Thoughts of Jayas consumed me — his gentle touch, his strength, and the moments we shared.

The beast and I continued our descent, the void around us both beautiful and terrifying.

The creature’s roars grew less frequent, its grip on me weakening.

Was it afraid?

Or simply accepting its fate?

Moments felt like hours, hours like lifetimes.

As the darkness grew thicker and the distant pinpricks of light brighter, a sudden realization hit me: the void wasn’t empty.

Shapes began to emerge — platforms like the arena we had just vacated, islands in the abyss, suspended in mid-air and glowing with a soft, ethereal light.

Other world with other victims, other mates fighting to survive.

The sensation of falling was strange, a paradox of stillness and rapid descent.

All around me, the expanse of the void seemed like a vast canvas of swirling mists and unknown energies.

But it wasn’t the fall that terrified me.

It was the monster, the relentless beast that had pursued me to the very brink of oblivion and now accompanied me in this plummeting descent.

I could feel its heavy, gnarled hands tugging at my clothes, its intent clear even in this free-fall.

I screamed, my voice echoing in the emptiness, as I tried to fend off the beast’s advances.

Twisting and turning, I attempted to break free from its grasp, but the creature was strong, fueled by primal desires.

Every second felt like an eternity, every ounce of my strength spent in resisting its grotesque intentions.

My breath became labored.

The thin air of the void made it hard to breathe, every inhale a struggle.

However, while I felt the pressure of the void, the beast seemed unaffected, evenempoweredby the environment.

Its eyes glowed eerily, fixated on me with an unyielding hunger.

Desperation clawed at me.

The void’s cold embrace tightened, making it harder to breathe, harder to think.
