With a grunt, it quickly turned and lunged at me.

I flipped backward, landing on my feet a short distance away.

In quick succession, I dashed toward the walls, using them to springboard and gain height over the creature.

Like a gymnast in zero gravity, I twisted and flipped, confounding the beast with my speed and unpredictable movement.

Every time the creature tried to grab or swing at me, I’d dance away, leaving it swiping at thin air.

I could see the growing frustration in its eyes, the sheer fury as it repeatedly failed to land a blow.

But with every dodge I made, I countered with a hit.

A jab to its eyes, a kick to its torso, a swipe at its legs, slowly wearing it down.

But the beast was relentless.

With a roar, it lunged again, faster than I had anticipated.

A sharp pain seared through my side as one of its claws found its mark, tearing through my armor.

I stumbled, feeling warmth spread as blood oozed from the gash.

Not willing to give it the satisfaction of seeing me down, I sprang up, retaliating with a surge of energy.

A direct punch landed on its face, followed by a high kick.

But, to my horror, it barely flinched.

Instead, it retaliated with a powerful blow, knocking the wind out of me and sending me crashing to the floor.

The creature loomed over me, ready to deliver the final blow.

But I wasn’t finished yet.

With a deep roar, I summoned all my strength and pushed off the ground, flipping over the creature, and landing behind it.

Before it could turn, I delivered a series of blows to its back, each one landing with precision and force.

We were both battered, bruised, and bloody, but neither of us was willing to back down.

The creature, still oozing with strength and determination, turned to face me again.

I stood my ground, ready to dodge its next attack.

Suddenly, I saw my chance.

As the creature charged, I leaped high into the air, using my momentum to spin and land a powerful kick to its head.

The force of the blow sent the creature stumbling back, and I quickly followed up with a barrage of punches and kicks.

For what felt like hours, we traded blows, each of us trying to outdo the other, neither willing to yield.

The room was filled with the sounds of our battle — the clash of claws against armor, the thud of bodies hitting the floor, and the grunts of exertion.

But then, as we continued to clash, the creature suddenly stopped, its amber eyes widening in surprise.

I was puzzled by its sudden stillness, but I didn’t let my guard down.
